Chick-Fil-A was created with the dream to give people great service and great chicken. The first Chick-Fil-A opened in 1967 in Atlanta's own Greenbriar mall. With its great success inside the malls of the southeast Chick-Fil-A built its first free-standing restauraunt in 1986. One of their greatest accomplishments was the invention of the chicken sandwich, which revolutionized the fast food industry by making a sandwich that was more healthy than a typical burger. Unlike many fast food restauraunts they show great hospitality by employing a hostess who manages the floor by making sure everyone's drinks are adequately filled and trash thrown away. Chick-Fil-A also sponsors the Chick-fil-A Leadership Scholarship Program which has donated more than 20 million in scholarships since 1973. Truet Cathy, the founder of Chick-fil-A, also has kept the company in the family by introducing it to his sons and grandsons, as show in the picture. Cathy is a strong christian man who's faith has kept him from opening the restauraunts on sundays, believing that everyone of his workers should have a day-off on the sabbath. He has also sponsored a youth camp named Camp Winshape, where their goal is shape young people into strong leaders. Chick-fil-A is run by a strong, christian family, and with their great service and food, they will continue to succeed. What more can a hungry man/woman ask for?
