Theories
Rebirth is a belief, but many claim to remember what happened in their past birth. Many people also claim to the theory that you hate someone right by seeing them or like someone as a friend just by seeing them ; there is a theory to this that it's because they were in your past birth as well and you hated them there or liked them there.
Rebirth has been the question which has dazzled scientists for so long. Take Proffessor Ian Stevenson from the University of Virginia who spent more than 40 years devoted to the study of children who have apparently spoken about a past life.In each case, Professor Stevenson methodically documented the child's statements. Then he identified the deceased person the child allegedly identified with, and verified the facts of the deceased person's life that matched the child's memory. He also matched birthmarks and birth defects to wounds and scars on the deceased, verified by medical records such as autopsy photographs. An objection is that most people do not remember previous lives. Possible counter-arguments are that not all people reincarnate, or that most people do not have memorable deaths. The vast majority of cases investigated at the University of Virginia involved people who had met some sort of violent or untimely death.
At this time, nothing can be told for certain. Right now, it's a maybe so type of answer. Some people can remember, some people can't. Maybe all people don't reincarnate or maybe you can only remember if you have a violent or untimely death. Myth or Fact? Neither at this time. I gues we just won't know until we die.

Really there's no other explanation for intensely disliking someone you've just met except that you knew that person in a previous life. Also no other explanation for children knowing intimate details of a deceased stranger's life unless they were that person.
It amazes me that we fight the concept of reincarnation, or try to disprove it, instead of embracing it as a wonderful tool to enhance and improve our present lives. A good friend shed many long-time health problems by exploring past lives over the course of several months. All were manifestations of unresolved issues in some past lives, or the injuries that caused her death in others.
