Recommendations for Making Money Online
54How can you possibly make money online? That's a very good question. You see I have been doing this for now almost two years on a consistent basis and have found items that do pay you for your services but sometimes you need to make a small amount. However, you will probably need something like a PayPal account if you have one of course. If not however, you may be in trouble as most will require that and from what I found, unless you get consistent freelance work in large amounts of money, you'll be best to get it electronically. Another reason to have it is because most if not all sites require you to have one in order to get a payment sent.
My questions are what are you interested in doing exactly? I will admit first-hand it's not going to be easy in the first place. There are writing sites out there that all you need to do is register and have a PayPal account of course. There is also something like freelance work though that isn't a guaranteed option. Trust me right there as you could run into buyers who for no reason don't pick people despite wanting a job done in the first place.
If you are looking to sell products, there is Ebay of course if that's what you are into. Just be sure to have an account and then go into building a store and start selling items. There could be a small fee based on if the product has been sold. It just really depends on what you're looking at.
However, should you decide to go for an online business, then the best bet is to get a web site. For hosting, I recommend using godaddy.com as you can get what you need there and not have to worry about anything. I have used them myself and can tell you it is good, reliable, and your site doesn't go down so fast especially if you don't have an excessive amount of videos and other multimedia items on your site directly.
For writing purposes, I recommend joining as many writing sites as you possibly can if you like to write of course. The ones that I have worked with outside of HubPages like Associated Content, Helium, and Triond all pay but you have to make a certain amount in order to receive payment at least once a month. Associated Content is one that you can get upfront offers but that's hit or miss and the money goes into your PayPal account.
These are items I can recommend to you but it does take time and patience to develop overtime. While I may not have the most experience, I can only share with you what I have been going through with it and trying to give an idea of what works.
I hope that these helped you out with ideas and best of luck to you on your quest to make extra money.

Great Hub, Bruce. It is unfortunate that there are so many schemes on the net designed to sell you the 'get rich quick secrets' for a nominal fee. This is as good as it gets, you need to sit down and decide what you want to do, do a little research and then get to working.
Many people write blogs and provide online content through HubPages, Triond, etc to make ad revenue. It doesn't come without the elbow grease, though. It's best to think of a few good topics that interest you. You'll find that if you're writing about things you enjoy it's less work and over time you'll find you've made more money than you expected. It's not every day that you get paid to have fun.
