How to turn a T-shirt into a camisole.

Camisoles are really versatile items, they can be worn under regular tops, jackets, cardigans, or worn on their own now the heat seems to be upon us.

You can easily turn an old T shirt (even a boys one!) into a cute camisole top in a matter of minutes!

You will need:

A T-shirt

A needle and thread OR sewing machine ( easily and quickly done by hand, but quicker with the machine)

Scissors.

Step 1. Lay the T-shirt out on a flat surface, Cut the hem from the bottom of the T-shirt, you may need to cut more, the fabric should be about an inch thick. Do not throw this away!

Step 2. Cut the T-shirt across the top from underarm to underarm. Sew a hem at the top and bottom of the shirt. Cut the piece of fabric you cut from the bottom of the T-shirt in half.

> Step 3. Sew each of these pieces to the top of your T-shirt at the front and back, try to keep your stitches tidy, you can add gems or buttons to hide the stitches if you wish. Voila! A new Camisole!
