Asthma and Pneumonia

While Reflexology is what I DO it is also something I use constantly in my personal life as well.

My first experience with how well Reflexology helped breathing problems was over 25 years ago when I was working a booth at a health convention. After my hours in the booth several of us decided to see what else was going on at this huge convention center in Kansas City. We went to see a cat show which was right next door. I guess I wasn't thinking clearly or at least didn't think it through....I was very allergic to cats. I figured the convention was going to be about "stuff" for cats...but there were 300 live cats in this little room! Within minutes I went into an asthma attack. Luckily my brother was there and he knows where to work on the feet for the lungs ...the top and bottom of the ball of the foot are where the lung reflexes are located. Within 15 minutes my breathing stablized.

The years have gone by and I have found Reflexology to be useful when my clients come in with head colds and breathing difficulties but the real test came every year when my mother would come down with a cold and it would develop into pneumonia. I would work on her everyday in the evening so that she could breath better and sleep better too. If I missed a night, she couldn't lay down and her coughing was worse - therefore not much sleep. With Reflexology she would heal rapidly.

I have found that the tops of the feet between the tendons are the best place to work for lung issues. It is amazing how quickly the body responds to this work. Within minutes a person's breathing slows and becomes noticeably better.

First of all, I am sorry that the reflexologist told you that. It is not for us to say if someone has or does not have a health issue. We are not doctors and cannot, legally, do diagnostics through the feet, and we are not trained to do so. Also the area where the lungs are represented on the feet can relate to chest or back muscles and everything in between.

Only your husband knows if he has 'lung issues'. If he does, then great, lucky guess. The only way to see if he physically does have problems with his lungs is to go to a regular MD and have tests done. I will say that sometimes we do pick up on issues that have not manifested in the physical body yet but, again, that is NOT for us to say.

I would only be concerned if he does have a history of lung problems or his family does, otherwise, it may be just sore muscles.
