Reform The Patriot Act
59Grass Roots Movement To Reform The Patriot Act
A nonpartisan movement to reform the Patriot Act is growing around the country. Made up of freedom loving rugged individuals, we are taking it upon ourselves to inform and inspire others to get involved with contacting their representatives to demand Americans not be subjected to unconstitutional proceedures that strip us of our civil rights without due cause. We are tired of being spied upon and with the recent breech of security in the Homeland Security office we find that ordinary citizens are now considered as potential terrorists. That report mentioned Ron Paul supporters, Veterans, Tea Party attenders, 2nd Amendment proponents and other Americans with similar main stream affiliations as being potential terrorists. According to the Patriot Act, being on that list is enough to allow us to be investigated, arrested and held without due process. None of us want to make our country less secure against the threats of real terrorists. But to call average citizens potential terrorists for merely exercising our rights of political opinions is a dangerous and threatening situation for all. Please read this flier, copy it, paste it onto a word document, print it and use it if you like or feel free to make your own.

Safari, this thing is printing just fine. Downloaded it a jpeg, clicked on dl file, was asked if "how I wanted to print this picture", and Voila!, 40 copies and counting.
I only handed out forty of 'em... i didn't realize everyone would want one! Dammmit! Should have rolled off a 1000!
I am 100% in agreement on you on this, SafariWoman. The Patriot Act must be abolished before Patriot Act II goes into affect. Once that happens, we might as well rip up our Bill of Rights!
