Regain Economic Stability After A Layoff
54
All across America people are thinking about starting up a business of their own. With a large number of layoffs affecting the economy of the United States some out of work adults are considering the restructuring of their careers and exploring opportunities that do not require them to work for someone else in the future. Some people are attempting to startup businesses of their own only to learn that running a business requires them to give everything they have to the cause of their work, leaving little if any time at all for other activities. While economic experts that are predicting more and more people will find security and satisfaction from running a small business are encouraging starting up a new business venture the number of businesses that fail within the first year is still around ninety percent.
The lack of experience and limited capital that people are bringing to the small business table when they open their doors is leaving many people heartbroken at the realization that they do not know everything that there is to know about running a business and that while they may love the job they have given to themselves they are unable to break through the glass ceiling of their debt and expenses to make a profit and start on a path of financial independence.
While brick and mortar businesses present challenging startup concerns for many people others are turning to the internet to create online services and stores that provide a virtual business to those seeking to reenter the workforce or create an additional source of income. While a handful of online businesses are successful the majority of people starting an online store are also failing in their endeavors. The primary cause of their failure is that they lack the discipline to take their business seriously and treat it as a full time job. Even after building an online presence and loading an internet storefront with merchandise the number of people that sit back and wait for the world to come to them is staggering. If no one knows that store exists no will come to buy from it and after a few months with little traffic and even fewer if any sales many of those internet businesses fold up their tents and disappear.
So where do people find success in beginning a new business venture after they have lost their primary source of income? The experts of economic recovery are still saying that the best thing for people out of work to do is to start working for themselves and generate jobs and income that will stimulate the economy and help to create revenue streams and tax shelters that will aid in jump starting the flow of money through economic restructuring. So how is this to be done when the statistics show that most businesses fail within the first year and the internet is not helping people to establish a strong foothold for their affiliate based store front businesses?
The answer may be somewhat surprising, but the best ventures that people are finding to invest themselves in are those that have been proven time and again to produce successful entrepreneurs and business development leaders. What I am referring to are the many franchise opportunities like a yogurt franchise that are available to smart business people that have fallen on challenging economic times. Franchise business opportunities allow people to start a new business with the proven track record of success that has been defined and proven by successful people. A franchise takes the business model of an existing and profitable company and duplicates each of the policies and procedures for recreating a cloned version of the business that can be just as successful as the original. Many corporations offer an affordable entrance into the world of franchising and help guide their newly formed franchisees to the pathway of success.
Even amid the breakdown of other businesses franchise operators are thriving, because businesses that have been in existence for many years and have seen the ups and downs of the economy and know how to weather the storms of financial uncertainty they are able to pass their knowledge and wisdom on to new generations of franchisees. By duplicating the business model and utilizing formulas and ingredients that have been measured and tested the franchise operator can quickly begin to follow in the established footsteps of their franchising organization and take advantage of the established and recognized branding that has aided in the success of the company.
With the available resources of the corporate marketing team and the promotion of the brand in the marketplace a franchise owner may soon start to reap the rewards of running a business that they are proud to own and find that what was a difficult layoff may indeed be the blessing that they had always envisioned for the success they desired. By following to the letter the successful instructions of the corporation that is licensing the franchised business the entrepreneur can turn a small startup into a thriving and lucrative business in a relatively short period of time.
The key to selecting a business that will be a moneymaker is to examine which franchises are successful, but that are not saturating the marketplace. It is a good idea to support something that you already use and enjoy as you search through the franchising options and find one that you can support and feel enthusiastic about. By being emotionally involved in bringing a business into being that you are excited about you can spread your enthusiasm to employees and customers as you promote the idea and opportunity to people closest to you.
With a proven track record of successful business over the years and the available marketing and promotion of the franchise opportunity, the business owner can be assured that they are making a wise decision in choosing to start-up a franchise business that will continue to have the support of the parent corporation for many years, forming a long and lasting relationship of successful business practice while generating an income stream for the owner that has unlimited potential. Even under the current economic conditions many people are finding that the opportunities to own a franchise are the solution to their financial worries and helping them to become independent, contributing members of society.
Do you think franchises will help boost our economy?
