Knowing how to tell if a girl like you in the first place is a skill.

There are hundreds of signs which girls use if they like you but one word has many meanings at the same time one sign might have many meanings. Here are some tips or signs where you can spot if the girl really like you in the first place:

1. Stares
   Depending on how much she likes you and how good of an actress she is, she can give you long looks when your not looking or glance at you.
   
   You catch her looking at you "wistfully."
   
   She looks at you while you don't notice.
   
   She will either make direct eye contact with you or will look hurriedly away if you catch eye contact.
   
   She turns her head to the side when she looks at you.
   
   
2. Her hair
   If she tugs on her hair or plays with it, when she is around you or when she sees you come into a room, it means she's nervous. She's nervous about seeing you.
   
   She messes with her hair if she catches you looking at her.
   
   
3. Hitting
   If she tries to hit you, then she probably likes you. If you feign injury and the girl seems amused, she likes you. If you feign injury and the girl seems slightly worried, she thinks of you only as a friend.
   
   She makes excuses to touch you, even just for a short second, to have the physical connection.
   
   
4. Passing interactions
   If you see her walking down the hallway, she'll look at you once, quickly. She'll probably smile, but you know, try to contain it.
   
   

Girls like playing guys a lot. Why?

They like to be "liked" or "wanted" by other guys. And its just part of the "female" genetic code. girls will probably post and say there not like that, and 100% disagree with me....but deep down inside, they know its true.

So just a warning to the guys, just watch out and don't jump completely into it. If you show too much interest you'll get burned, and try to be a jerk.

If you find out that a girl likes you, don't act like she is from another planet or has the flu. Girls don't like it and their hearts can be very fragile, so be careful. Don't be mean or give her the cold shoulder because If you do end up liking her eventually, she may not give you another chance. Also, that kind of mistake can mess up your reputation as being a good boyfriend.
