I've been studying astrology for close to ten years now and have looked at manydifferent classification systems from over 2500 years of astrological practice in many different cultures.

The one that I'm interested in at the moment is the indian system which emphasises the mansions of the moon or nakshatras in predicting relationship dynamics. This system divides the path of the moon into 27 divisions corresponding roughly to the daily cycle of about 13 degrees travelled. Each nakshastra is associated with symbolism (animals and body parts amongst others) which give an indication of how compatible each lunar mansion is with thew others.

In theory it ought to be possible to relate these techniques specifically to gay relationships although I do not have a large enough client base amongst this group at the moment to know for sure.

My work over the next couple of years is to build up a client base amongst gay/bisexual men and lesbians

Predicting relationship dynamics in western astrology is called synestry. It involves overlaying one chart over another and looking for connections in terms of planet placements in signs and houses. If you add to this a knowledge of group dynamics then astrology becomes auseful tool to describe relationships within groups in symbolic terms
