If you don't know what inspires you or what your gifts are yet, it does not matter! It may be to be kind, it may be to share your creativity, it may be to write, to bring joy to those around you. Be open to letting it in!

As far as the Law of Attraction is concerned, the words God, Universe, Creative Energy, Higher Power and Source all have the same meaning. They all signify the source of creation and are interchangeably. The words don't matter, it is the same meaning and FEELING behind the words that matters. Hey, there's that word FEELING again! Those are the most important things we have.

One of the things I love so much about the Law of Attraction is that you can be of any religion, or no religion at all, and still apply these principles to your life! You can be Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, atheist or of any belief system and believe and use it. The Law of Attraction is an all-inclusive law; it works no matter what you believe, even if you want to believe in nothing at all. The Law of Attraction reminds me of our Thanksgiving holiday in the US. You can celebrate and appreciate this holiday while holding any religious beliefs. In the same way, you can believe and apply the Law of Attraction regardless of your religious beliefs.

All of the great traditions throughout history, whether religious, scientific, psychological, philosophical or metaphysical, they all teach that we are a part of the Creative Source, or God. For this reason alone, we are worthy of those things we want in our lives. The greatest gift we have from the creative source is our unlimited potential. We all have the Creative Source Energy, the Higher Power or God, within us. (I'll just call it our Creative Source for now, but it's all those things mentioned above.) Our job is to be as much like the Creative Source that made us. Our journey to feeling purposeful and being inspired to try to be like this higher power in all of our words, thoughts and feelings. That brings energy in the form of very high positive vibrations back into our life.

Since we know we are all from this Creative Source, it is obvious that we are totally connected to everyone else. We are the same, yet when we are in individual physical form, we each have our individual gifts. One of my favorite things to do since I've been practicing the Law of Attraction deliberately, is to go about my day and interacting with people and try to feel that connection, even if only for a moment, look the other person in the eye. Because I now see the Creative Source in all of us. I see parts of myself in others and parts of them in me. I feel that this part of the Law of Attraction, knowing that we are all the same, brings out my compassion and tolerance for the foibles in other people have and the same compassion and tolerance for my own. We are all looking for the same thing. We are looking for purpose and joy. And practicing the Law of Attraction can help us find that.

The Law of Attraction is a universal law, just like the Law of Gravity is one of our natural laws. If you are religious, do you still believe in the Law of Gravity? Of course you do! Do you have to believe in the Law of Gravity for it to work in your life? No, it works because it is a law! Just like the Law of Attraction!

So we are an extension of our same Creative Source (God). So we should honor and love ourselves just as we honor and love that Creative Source because we are one and the same. And this is what the Law of Attraction is saying. We are part of that Creative Source and so we do have the power within us to create our life the way we want it. All traditions tell us that Creative Source is everywhere at all times. If It is everywhere at all times, It must be in you and me, too. When we are clear and connected to this God force or creative energy, there is absolutely nothing we cannot be, do or have. When each one of us is living closer to the same vibrational energy as our Creative Source we attract that same energy in each other.

It makes no difference what circumstances you were born into, what neighborhood you grew up in, how much money is currently in your bank account, your age, how your parents may have treated you, how your peers may treated you, the level of education you do or do not have, History has proven over and over again that people with less than perfect backgrounds can become highly successful, connected and inspired in spite of having what looked like insuperable odds. All teachers explain it in basically the same. These highly successful people all think a certain way. They all use the Law of Attraction, whether they know the name for it or not. They all raised their vibration to become inspired, to have that intense, burning desire Napoleon Hill describes.

The Law of Attraction is a great equalizer. It works in exactly the same way for everybody. Isn't that exciting?! That means if you don't like what you have in your life right now, you do have the ability to change it. If you do like what you have in your life, you've been successfully using the Law of Attraction. And whether you believe in this or not, this is working all day every day in your life.

If you don't know what inspires you or what your gifts are yet, it does not matter! It may be to be kind, it may be to share your creativity, it may be to write, to bring joy to those around you. Be open to letting it in! Get quiet and just ask the Universe to tell you.

And listen.

Most certainly, I agree that applying the law of attraction cuts across all religions.  It is more about our inner connection to the divine.  It can be just about any religion. Great hub! Rated up!
