Religious activities are just that. They are something we do, but, it’s really about having a relationship with God, Jesus Himself.

Religious activities are like rocking in a rocking chair, it uses your time and energy but you are going nowhere. You may feel like your doing something but are you really?

Religious activities are something we do. I do not believe God is that impressed if we read the Bible, after all He wrote it and already knows what is in there.

Of course he wants us to read it, however, we are the ones who need the instructions!

Going to church isn’t for Gods sake, its for our sake. We hear the sermons God gives for us to hear. God doesn’t beat you because you didn’t go to church, you just lose your blessing. You might miss the word of God that He is trying to give you.

Now singing, singing with a true heart that is worshiping God. How many times do we shout and yell at our family just to get them to church? All the while we are driving to church we are fuming about what it took to get them in the car. Then we walk inside and now we are embarrassed because someone else in sitting in our spot? How dare they? Our name is not on the pews but for some reason we think its ours. It is not even our church, it is Gods Church. We might do well to get ourselves off our minds. Now singing with all that yuck in your heart is that worshiping?

　We need to get real about God! He is a real God! If you believe, live like you believe!

I feel so bad for some of us Christians who have done years and years of religious activities and have no victory, peace or joy in their lives. That is why I am writing this Hub. I know we wanted to do what was right, those in authority over us tell us to do these religious activities because they are good for us. But if we don’t spend time with God our Father, we are going to miss out on a lot. We are just rocking our life away!

I challenge you to . . .

Get out of the rocking chair! Talk to Him! He is big, so BIG that even our biggest problems are small to Him. Talk to Him about everything, even the little things.

Tell God in prayer how you feel. Don’t complain to people who can not do anything about most everything. GOD CAN do anything!

With God all things are possible!

God loves you and cares for you.

Do we really believe He gave is son, Jesus, so we could live wimpy defeated lives? I say NO WAY!

Glory to God in the highest for He alone is worthy to be praised. I love God, I love you, I am just trying to help you get out of the rocking chair!
