Glad to see a hub about the rich heritage of North Carolina, I was born in Concord, NC and raised in Eden, NC. Currently I now reside in Maine and make a thousand mile journey every year to go back and visit. North Carolina is a great place to live or visit. Not to overly industrialized and provides great area's to escape to. Give it a visit on your next vacation.

This made me miss North Carolina, our former home before moving to Hawaii 5 years ago. My husbands family has lived there, in a place called Maple Farm, in Tryon. I love Asheville, Blowing Rock, the furniture outlets, the whole landscape. I hope to be able to visit again.
