Remedy For Head Lice

Getting Help Treatment for Head Lice

Lice are.

These undesirable insects feed on human blood, though in particularly small amounts and they can survive for two days without feeding on the scalp. The term "pthiriasis" is the infestation by pubic lice. They feed more than once a day. There were crusades to put racial groups that may be of grave threat of carrying these infections into quarantine. They usually originate on people who occasionally change or clean their garments. It can have an effect on the head, the body and even in pubic parts.

Behavior of Lice

The egg's cap points directly away from the hair with a 30-degree angle. These nymphs start feeding and become adult lice in a week or two also. They do not move away from their desired habitation. Lice are also called "cooties". Lice settlements are so very little that gives hard time looking for them.

Lice History

Each clade has its own exceptional geographical distribution. Lice which belong to mitochondrial Clade B could have been discovered in North America or Asia, as earlier statistics proposed. But the collection of samples and sizes were inadequate. There are three subdivisions of the human head lice called mitochondrial clades, Clades A, B, and C.

Symptoms and Diagnosis

Various pests and insects may temporarily settle in a person and may not be noticed if not for the bites. It is easy to diagnose if someone is infested with lice. It can be treated with antibiotic. It cannot really cause bacterial infection. The most common symptom is the recurrent itching of the head which builds up 3 to 4 weeks after the first infestation. Other people believed that they are infested even without seeing or capturing a single louse.

Treatment

It may be blown by the wind into your house. Once the lice were removed, there may be some nits left on the hair. Be very extra careful in using the prescribed medications since these are really insecticides. It's another safe way to remove these pests. Treatment for lice should be concentrated on the areas of the body infected and not on the surroundings.

These are the essential ways to remove lice and nits and to keep them from coming back:

Inform the school about lice thus they can perform a random check up of all the children. Do not use the same treatment for more than 3 times with the same person. Do not use lice medication to infants if not prescribed by your physician. But they cannot differentiate the active from the inactive attacks due to deficiency of knowledge and instruments. Without having assurance of lice detection and appropriate knowledge it is hard to tell apart these insects from other objects present in the hair. Check your children's hair everyday to see if there are nits still present. Look for some mild skin cleansers that are free of pesticide, it may be effective and safer to use.

Prevention

Some preventative measures of lice attack for our children:

Advise the kids not to get in close contact with other children's head anywhere they go

Never let the kids borrow or share their private belongings such as head bands, hair brush, handkerchiefs, caps and bonnets and even earphones with anyone else, even to people no lice

Keep coats and hats in separate hangers at home and at school. Treating it is really hard. Look for photos of lice and nits to know what you are dealing with. If after treating the head twice and you still find lice, try changing the medication and repeat the procedure for treatment.
