Removing Rust From Cement

Removing Rust From Concrete

So here are your options when you are looking to remove rust from concrete. You either need to use a really harmful chemicals to zap it away or their are some solutions where simple lemon juice and vinegar would work.

Wel let's look at both solutions and see if they really work for removing rust from concrete.

In any event, you will really want to avoid harmful chemicals. But let's say you are a bit ballsy... and you do use some rust cleaner that is containing some acidic materials.

Sure this may remove rust stains, but watch the hands also... if you use this stuff around plants or vegitation. Kiss it goodbye. This is a very common case with rust removers and trying to remove rust from concrete.

So, you have the option of using chemicals to do this... but let's look at the alternative. Using some household products like vinegar and lemon juice.

I for one have tried this and there was not result. I may have not dilluted it enough or whatever. But I am not a chemist. I just wanted to get the rust from the cement and sidewalk gone.... or the ol' lady will be riding up my neck.

So I did the rust removal thing with natural home made remedies. No luck there.

Remove Rust From Concrete Commercially

So the next solution is for people who time is worth money. The think I liked about select rust removal products is that the whole focus was to keep the customer saving time. No one really wants to spend a whole day cleaning rust stains, even though I did with no sucess with the other solutions.

But, it did get me to a solution to remove rust from concrete with no having to spend alot of money and saving me alot of time.

With one simple spray of the organic rust remover called Rusterizer it pretty much equalled the same amount I would use for the home remedies I tried, The rust cleaner is concentrated when you buy it and this is a great money saver.

I found something really important....

Ever go to the hardware store and try a product and doesn't really do the job. Well, this is most likely because the products are watered down and cut back to make the price margins. What I was really impressed is the Green Bean cleaning product line strives on giving customers concentrated solutions. They are not trying to make margins, simply because they manufacture the rust removers themselves.

Sure this is somewhat commercial, but I do like the rust remover Rusterizer for removing rust from concrete. I did see a difference very quickly and will be recommending the product to others. While the gallon is around $50 it is much less than other rust ceaning products out there and it is organic and safe with no acid.

If you think you can get rid of your rust problem on the cement with a home remedy, then use vinegar and lemon juice.

But.. if you have a larger problem like I did... to remove rust from concrete be sure to try an organic rust remover that neutralizes rust like Rusterizer did.
