Fears and anxiety.

Our minds are truly amazing fears anxiety and worry are not the only emotions and fantasies we create. We are able to get excited about something that might happen in the future even if we have never experienced it before. We can spend thousands of pounds on a new flat screen TV because we think it will be great, our friends will be impressed and movies will look great.

Thousands each years will buy new cars and forget the huge deprecation that will take place in the first three years if they keep the car that long. Our minds are amazing.

But what happens if we have a mind that likes to frighten

us because we have never trained her to do what will benefit us the most. What will our lives be like if instead of us creating pleasure we frighten our selves. The feelings and the actions we take will be just as real.

Concern and apprehension are normal biological protections to keep us safe and alive. They allow us to asses a possible danger and if the risks are not worth it to avoid the problem so we stay safe. It is the middle part that people who have high levels of anxiety and stress miss out.


Asses the risks and do something.

Fears and anxiety hit people, yet they just do not come out of thin air. Our minds, us create them. So the emotions come and what do most do?. Just run with them and they go round and round and the anxiety builds and before they know it they are frightened over something that has not yet happened.

One of the effects of this is we have by passed our critical factor, we are not thinking. You are responding to a fantasy. It is not real. There are techniques available that allow you to break this cycle so that you are able to turn off the negative emotions that you have created and take action to remove the feelings so that you can realistically asses the situation.
