More people are working from home thanks to high gas prices. Some employers are reconsidering the the traditional 5 days in the office pattern. This allows them to work from home or switch to 4 days of 10 hours each. This cuts down on commuting costs according to the Herald Tribune.

According to the coalition they estimate that more than 26 million Americans now telecommute at least some days, which would be about 18 percent of people employed nationwide.

According to the House of Representatives they approved legislation requiring the head of each federal agency to set policies allowing qualified workers to work from home or another convenient location. Giving relief from high gas prices was one factor cited by the sponsor, Rep. Danny Davis, an Illinois Democrat.

Thanks to high gas prices more and more baby boomers find other avenues to generate income or on side using internet network marketing as their source. This allows baby boomers to see more prospects joining their business opportunity and seeing more commissions. Be careful, you don't want to go around pushing your business opportunity on them. People are so immune to network marketers approaching them at the mall, and in the grocery stores, they see it (flyers) on their cars, giving network marketing a bad name. People already have their mind set on where they're going and what they came for, going to these public places. Minding their own business coming out and going to their desired destinations. Not being interrupted by someone that they don't even have a clue who they are, and not even having a relationship built with that person.
