Replacing the Hardware is the answer

The weak point in Xbox 360's is this piece of hardware called a "X Clamp". This is microsoft's attempt at holding the heatsinks firmly to the CPU and GPU.

Unfortunately, over time after these pieces of metal heat up they begin to lose their stiffness. Eventually they will become so weak that they will not provide the proper force to keep the heatsinks flush and tight.

The only way to permanently fix this problem is to replace these "X Clamps" with some new hardware. Up until recently, there was no real information on this method. No one knew what size of what they needed and where to get it.

Well Xbox360Repairs has taken all of the guesswork and running around out. You can now purchase a complete kit complete with instructions to fix your Xbox 360 console within the hour!

Microsoft is NOT a permanent fix

If you do a little bit of research, you will soon find out that sending your Xbox 360 back to microsoft isn't the answer. All they do is add another heatsink to the CPU which only adds to the future problems.

As you can see in the image to the right, they add a floating heatsink to help disperse some of the heat away from the CPU.

This isn't the problem that is causing all of these errors though.

Not like all of the other guides

Most guides out there for sale will temporarily fix the problem just like Microsoft's fix. All they have you do is open up the console, replace the thermal compound on the CPU and GPU and then heat up the motherboard with a expensive heat gun.

This method will fix your Xbox 360 for a little bit, maybe even a couple months. The problem is that the X Clamps are still holding the heatsinks on. So eventually you are going to receive the same error all over again.

Another downfall of these guides is that they cost anywhere from $19.99 all the way to $29.99...That sure is a lot to pay for a digital ebook that is ripped off from each other. It is even more once you find out that the method that it has you do will not fix your console permanently.

Save yourself some money and the headaches and visit Xbox360Repairs. They have the only complete repair kit on the market.
