Big Foot Enjoys Deer Liver

I have just recently discovered that there are quite a few reported sasquatch sightings in Ohio. Areas include Stark, Carroll, Guernsey, Coshocton, Columbiana, and Auglaize counties, Berlin Lake, Sharon, and New Philadelphia, Ohio. This really gives me the creeps. I live several miles from those areas, still way too close for me !

Along with actual sightings of Big Foot and his huge footprints ( left in mud ), one thing remains the same, a large number of mutilated young deer. The deer carcasses leave the same evidence. They appear to have been brutally attacked, with their legs twisted and contorted, Their bellies ripped open with only the livers removed. Their intestines pulled out, still attached and laying in a pile near their bellies. So much for the theory of sasquatch being a nut and berry eating sort of guy.

Big Foot has been sighted running across the road ( in front vehicles ) with a deer slung over his shoulder. Usually he remains in highly wooded areas.

One very interesting report, speaks of a retired man, Coshocton County, who was out hunting one day. He found many young deer mutilated, as I have described. He noticed a cave-like overhang, and decided to investigate. Inside the cave were many deer legs neatly lined up, no other remains. He thought this strange, of course, and then Big Foot returned to the cave ! I would've totally freaked ! The report says, the man was very frightened. The huge, hair covered beast just stood there, in the cave opening and stared at him. The man moved very slowly so not to spook the creature, and left through the other side of the cave. Luckily, Big Foot did not follow.

Another interesting bit of info is many of the reports speak of a knocking sound from woods. Sounding as if someone is beating against a tree with a piece of wood. It's as if the Big Foots communicate with each other. They answer each other with the same knocking sound, different directions located near deer hurds.

Well, it seems that Big Foot is alive and well in Ohio, and that makes me a bit uneasy !

I've only seen a few and I don't know if they're the real deal or not. He looks to be extremely tall (7 ft or more ), covered in dark long hair, and walks on two legs , standing upright, like a man . Maybe, I can find one and post it. I'm having trouble with my computer. It's giving me grief with downloading and uploading. Thanks, for commenting.

My brothers father in law . Who by the way is a avid hunter and also hunts big game out west and knows his woodand creatures. Saw what he could only discribe as a bigfoot along the roadside in near middletown. He said that it was standing along the road and as his car approached it jump off the road. I asked him if it ran away up the hillside and he replied" No. it seems like it disappeared, it just jumped and was gone. He said that the woods was clear enough that it couldnt of been hiding. Hes not a drinker or a doper, not one to believe in such things as sasquatch. I found it facinating.

I'm interested in research in this field. I've done investigations in Texas and have had one sighting in Ohio and possible two other no visual encounters in Ohio.

Maybe they're putting something in the water in Ohio? ;) I don't know what to think about Big Foot sightings, actually. But it seems to me that a dead Sasquatch would have been found somewhere by now. Or at least a clear photo.

My husband Dale at the time was 16 now 43 seen him(bigfoot)

Dale and some friends had a cabin in the woods in jefferson county,Ohio. They all went to spend the night in the cabin. of course they where drinking but dale said he was not that drunk! They heard shuffling in the leaves and thought it might be a deer. The hunten dog they had with them started barking like crazy! Then they felt stuff hitting their cabin! When they cracked the door opened they seen rocks and big tree branches all around the cabin! But didn't see anyone. The dog took off like a jet out the door! They all went running after what the dog was chasing in the wood's! Then the dog yelped and came running back with it's tail tucked between it's legs! They all ran back inside the cabin! This went on and off though the night! Dale said nature was calling even though he was a little frighted about what was happening he went outside the cabin anyhow! and the air smelled like a wet dog! dale didn't pay no mind and went around the corner of the cabin to do his buisness. Then he heard something coming toward him! He looked up trying to focus his eyes and seen something BIG and he screamed WHAT THE **** ARE YOU!! Dale said he didn't zip up! He ran back into the cabin and grabbed the claw hammer and flash light and kept watching the door! shaking like a leave! His friends asked what the HELL is wrong with you!! Dale told them what he had just seen and of course his friends didn't believe him! so he never told his story to anyone else untill he met me. Dale still gets goose bumps talking about it!

four months ago i was out in egypt vally OH when my son and i came across what the locals called the Ohio Grassman. it walked towards us and it made a sound like a woman screaming, so i drew my ColtM1911(.45) and fired 5 shots and my son fired 3 from his .357magnum revolver. it droped to the ground and moved a little then stoped. my son and i walked over to it with our pistols drawn and it was breathing very slow and loud. we got in our jeep and went to the nearest fone and called the shariff. when we met with him he had a trank gun and chains to tie it up. we then whent out where we were to get it and the grass was pushed down but the thing wasnt there. we looked for it for a week and all we found was broken branches. the sheriff believed us but we found nothing. but it had long hair, red eyes, bad odor, caninesthat came out the side of the mouth about a centimeter, long thin hands and long flat feet, its blood was kina thick and also had a bad odor, it was about 8ft tall, i have no estimation on the weight. then yesterday i found this site and desided to tell u.

i was hunting in berlin ohio and it was about six 45 in the morning when i heard a loud growl that sounded like a very mad bear i walk down the road to where i heard the growl and there wasnt anything so i kept on walking to my stand throghout the hunt i kept on hearing the same growl in the corner of a field so i walked down to the corner and sat on a log to see if it would growl again and a pack of deer came running across the trail i would have shot one but they were all running around in a circle and all i could hear was really loud breathing so i concluded that they were all really interested in whatever it was but they got scared and ran away into private property so i left because i was afraid that whatever the deer were running around was big and mad so i ended the hunt and while driving back we passed a sign that said something about the legend of bigfoot in berlin so we stopped and talked to the guy running the place and he said that he was riding his bike down the same road and heard the same thing. so ill let u be the jugde of whatever it was but i am leaning more towards bigfoot.

I live by Ceasers Creek lake about 15 minutes outside of town in waynesville. I have seen bigfoot twice right around where I live, and never again. The first time, me and my friend witnessed something what looked like a giant man cross the road, we caught it in the corner of the headlights, so he sped up, and as it entered the other side of the woods, it dissapeared. He immediatly locked up the brakes, and we discussed what we saw, at this point we were in such shock of what we saw, it felt like we saw a ghost. About a couple months later, i was driving home and i happened to hit deer with my lights at night, to see whats lurking around, turns out, I saw bigfoot about 50-60 yards from where we saw him the first time. I caught the upper part of him, and his movement. I caught the green eyes, and the moonlight silloutte and was able to distinguish it was not a normal animal. Not too far from where I live, I went hunting. I was sitting in a tree stand with my father during deer season. I dont remember specific details, but i remember about peeing my pants. We heard this loud roar or some kind of really bellowing sound echoing through the woods, the birds were chirping, the squirrels were chattering, but after that bellow rang through the woods, EVERYTHING living stopped what they were doing. It then did it again, and about 5 minutes later, the birds started back chirping.

Went camping mid. June a few years ago in Coshocton County Oh. - Lake Park, CR 83. My daughter & I were sleeping in an 8 man tent. Our food/cooking items were stored in a pup tent a few feet away. About 4am I wake to the sound of rattling pots & pans coming from the pup tent. I thought racoons were climbing on the tent, trying to get the food inside. The next thing I hear is the nylon of the pup tent ripping. I was getting kinda mad at this point and I as I sat up I groaned in an angry disgusted way. Immediately I saw the silhouette of something extremely tall abruptly stepped around my tent. The shape took 2 steps. Its shadow was as high as my domed tent. It stepped from the side to the front of the tent in one huge stride. I quickly realized somethings was still going on by the pup tent. Something was eating, and I hear ripping, scratching, picking sounds. I get on my knees and unzip the window flap slowly, one tooth at a time. I couldn't see anything. Never saw anything directly. But the noise continued and I listened, terrified. 2 paced back and forth in the woods behind the tent for about 10 minutes- sounds of breakage underfoot, woodknocks, strange deep calling noises that sounded like "Gunk" from the woods like 10 yards behind me. Then the screeeching pitiful cry of the one digging around in my pup tent about 4 feet away. Then it all just stopped, it seemed like they all just vanished. I knew they were gone because all got quiet and then (3) coons came in and cleaned up the food mess. I moved my daughter and our sleeping bags so our heads were directly in the center of the tent. I couldn't believe how these things came right in, stole, and damaged things. I didn't feel safe, and wasn't sure what the hell I was experiencing. Sadly, I don't camp anymore, should just sell the tent & stuff. The whole thing leaves you with more questions than answers. I think most people who experience this stuff are left feeling this way. Obviously, they know way more about us then we do them.

People are finally starting to open there eyes and there minds and realize these are living breathing animals.Ohio believe it or not is mostly wilderness people are only in a small portion of the state and over run with deer and other food sources an fresh water these animals thrive. take all the reported sightings in ohio and times it by 10 thats an accurate number because most people will not report it...

Ouside of exisiting in Native American mythology, there is no Sasquatch in Ohio, the Pacific northwest, Canada, or any where. So travel the woods and forests of Ohio (or any where else for that matter) at ease. You are in more danger from human animals than the imaginary ones.

Well, the behavior of hunting and eating deer isn't anything different than humans do I don't understand why this would distress you so much. It's long been known they have a taste for deer and wild or feral hogs, sometimes dogs, rabbits, snakes and everything that Native Americans ate and still eat. I don't imagine they have a taste for human if that's what is scaring you except possibly in the Nahanni Valley in the Northern territory of Canada.

I was hunting in Tranquility woods in Adams county back in 1999.About 11am,I was leaning against a tree, half asleep, since I had been in the woods since 4 in the morning, when I heard this crashing coming from a tree about 100 yards to my left.Startled,I joilted awake, just in time to see a huge hairball running over the hill. This thing sounded like it hit every branch when it fell.Someone said it was a bear. From what I saw, this thing was bipedal, walking upright, with broad massive shoulders. No mistaking it for a bear. And the smell was like a combo of rotten eggs and sunbaked road-kill.That ended my hunt.As of now,I'm in the process of doing field research and expeditions around my area.I'm hooked on this thing and can't seem to get it out of my mind.I've spent alot of money this year on a jeep and gear to get started.A website will be open and operational soon. Will keep everyone informed.

We were trespassing on state land drinking in around 1995-96. While I admit we were three sheets to the wind, what happened to us was enough to sober a man instantly.

We were in Central Ohio and as early 20-somethings, we were having a good time walking the railroad tracks, drinking beer and smoking cigarettes. We reached an area that has it's own security patrols b/c of the nature of the work that's done at the gov't facility. We were ducking in and out of brush and hiding from the rent-a-cops that knew we were there, but couldn't catch us.

The area bordered a protected stream, and we had moved back off the gov't facility property, and back into the State of Ohio protected park area. We really didn't have a choice b/c the security guys actually came down the railroad tracks with a vehicle that had a spot light.

Anyway, we had ducked into some brush and based upon the spotlighting that was going on, we knew we either had to travel in total darkness back to our vehicle - through the woods; or wait out the security.

We sat there waiting for the security to move back down the tracks, and popped a couple more beers out of our backpacks - killing time, and trying to stay as quiet as 3 drunk guys can.

They did leave eventually, but before we moved back out onto the tracks, all three of us had heard movement in the brush. We even laughed about it ... and worried about it, because we thought in might have been the security guys.

Someone quickly pointed out though that without some sort of light, there was no way the security guys were in the woods. Heck, we had damn near broken our neck just to get off the tracks and into the wood-line, and pitch blackness. Now, we were probably only 20-30 yards into the brush as it was.

Anyway, we were sitting there finishing up our beer and smoking cigarettes - we had decided it was safe to move back toward the tracks, and eventually to our vehicle to head home.

I can't remember exactly who started toward the tracks first, but I was the last one moving, and I heard something close to us in the brush. I literally couldn't see anything, but something was moving for sure - and it was making a decent amount of noise doing it.

I called to the other guys and asked them to listen. There was nothing. No sound, no sight - nothing. So we moved on toward the tracks through the thorny brush. I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched.

I was pretty relieved when we reached the tracks, as I was expecting something to come up from behind me and grab me in the darkness.

Once we made it to the tracks, the guys and myself couldn't help but giggle a little as I frighteningly scurried up onto the tracks. I'm a big guy and I imagine I looked pretty funny trying to hustle from the bush onto the loose, shifting gravel that sloped up to the top of the tracks.

Right then it happened - something screamed in the trees right in front of us. I can't honestly judge how far in it came from but, it was loud, it was shrill/high pitched, and it was very, very unexpected.

We literally ran all the way back down the tracks to where the vehicle was parked about a mile or a mile and a half away.

Afterward, we told our story to our friends and we were told a couple things: 1. don't out in the woods drunk because you'll see things that aren't there 2. it was probably a screech owl.

I don't know what it was that we heard that night, but it was loud, it knew right where we were, and it wasn't an owl, a dog, or a coyote. As a hunter, I've heard those sounds before.

I know one thing though - I haven't been back out to the woods drunk anymore.
