Request a Hub
55Short blurb about Requests
Request a hub is one of our newest features that offers functionality on a few levels. It can be used as a tool to have your own advice column, as a question and answers platform, and as a way to store ideas for hubs that you may want to create.
First, for people that make Hubs. The request a hub functionality can be used to manage your own advice column. Just ask your readers to request hubs from you and you will find them under your "My Account" page. You can also request hubs from yourself if you have an idea for a hub and want to remember it for later.
Second, HubPages as a question and answer platform is unparalled. The tools allow for much richer answers to be published that includes pictures and videos, and comments.
Speaking of comments, people love getting them, and now we've heard that people love getting requests. If you have a topic that you would like more information about, go ahead and request a hub from your favorite author.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'll start thinking about how to create and advice column!
Paul, can you answer a request with a hub you've already made? Sometimes while browsing through the requests I see a question which I've already handled in detail on another hub of mine, but there doesn't seem to be anyone to add it to the "answers".
That's been a request from a few people. We have it in the queue to do. Not quite sure when we'll get it out since we are in the middle of a development cycle.
Thanks, Paul!

Hi, Paul. Yes, definitely jack of all trades, now all I have to do is figure out is if I'm a master of any of them! But I think I'm getting close on a couple of them... but you know that close only counts in horseshoes and nuclear exchanges! :)
Thanks for the request and sorry that I threw you a curveball (how do you like that for baseball terminology) to the NFL instead! :)
Keep up the good work!
