Resume Objective Examples

Hello friends! Today's subject is Resume Objective Examples!

Once again it's time for me to update the old resume so I can make sure that I am marketable in case my boss decides to hand me my severance check and kick me to the curb. Which, unfortunately has happened to me a few times being a IT professional. I have always written my own resumes and one of the biggest challenges in writing a resume is the Objective statement. Through trial and error I've gotten pretty good at it and I would like to share some of these tricks with you below with high quality and easy to write Resume Objective Examples!

In most cases a resume will have either an objective statement. Both serve different proposes and a lot depends on the type of job your applying for. An objective statement in your resume is a short paragraph of 2 to 3 sentences long that communicates the type of job your seeking, and what you hope to gain from such a position. An objective statement is very important for several reasons. It will be the first thing your prospective employer will read on your resume if it's lucky enough to get into the hiring managers hands. Your prospective employer wants to know 2 things when you submit your resume. They want to know what type of job you are seeking and why. A well written objective statement will let the hiring manager quickly determine if your resume goes into the sorting pile or into the trash.

Resume Objective Examples can be broken down into 2 parts. The first part you want to introduce yourself and state the type of position you are seeking such as:

"5 year professional seeking a challenging position as a nascar auto mechanic."

This allows the employer to determine 2 important things very quickly. It allows them to see if you have the required experience that they are seeking for the job and, informs them about the type of position you are seeking. The second part of an objective statement should communicate what you hope to get out of such a position:

"position as a nascar auto mechanic that will allow me to advance my career and position in the industry.

This gives your potential employer a good idea of your short and, long term goals. It doesn't seem like a whole lot of content but, a objective statement should be short and sweet and be clearly written. Remember your not looking to dazzle just yet. Your just wanting to ensure your resume stays out of the trash throughout the hiring process. A well written objective statement will go a long way to ensure this.

Other Resume Objective Examples I can provide you:

"2 year hamburger professional seeking a fun and challenging position as a burger flipper for Burger Shack Attack! I am wanting to learn and work with the best burger flippers in the industry!"

The above statement communicates the employees experience, what they are seeking, and what they hope to gain if they were to accept an offer of employment. If the burger shack "Burger Shack Attack" is known as the best burger shack in the world then they probably are picky about who they hire to be they're burger flippers so in this case the enthusiasm and goal to work with the best can be an advantage.

"Recent college graduate seeking a entry level job working with concert lighting and sound systems. I am wanting to be challenged and to gain the experience that will allow me to advance my career."

This is an example of someone who has no actual experience but is seeking a entry level job. It communicates they have recently graduated college, the type of job they're seeking in detail and, what they hope to gain from the position which in this case is experience.
