Resveratrol, the fountain of youth?
I ended up making myself a human guinea pig in this experiment. Please read it- you may really find this experiment useful and informative!
Is Resveratol the fountain of youth in a bottle? Well according to some mice and rat studies it is. Last night on 60 minutes, the Harvard professors who discovered it were on the program, their studies and a large chemical company recently bought out potential. It appears a large drug company certainly believes the studies...
This morning its 9:02 am January 26, 2009 I did an internet scan of the research. Lo, and behold there are vitamin companies already offering it for as little as one dollar per shipping. In addition, there are several sources you can pick this vitamin supplement, natural hailed fountain of youth in a bottle!
It seems the scientists are waiting for a human study before they go out selling it.
The finders of this study say it will be five years before they know. Yet, the supplement is already offered online. How when it is not yet approved by the Food and drug administration?
Therefore, I was hoping if you all read the article you will go run to buy it, become the mice in the study, and email me back if it works, please! Just type in resveratol and you will find more than one link to buy it instantaneously and become a human rat study, to see.
Just type in --Resveratrol by Juvenon to find many links on the subject.
You will also find articles from almost every major newspaper.
Yeah and haying it- and nay saying it!
Some days I wonder if people would take anything to feel better. Become more youthful.
However, I must admit if I could stop heart disease that does run in my family. On the other hand, perhaps the breast cancer my sister suffered from last year, of course I would take it, wouldn’t you?
It appears this all started with the French; they found that despite their high cholesterol and fat diet, they seem to suffer less from heart disease. They correlated this with high red wine intake. According to the scientist-, it would take at least 100 bottles a day of red wine to digest enough of this natural chemical. Also, found in chocolate, peanuts plums, raspberries and blueberries.
Since I am not a drinker, pills sound good to me. Alcohol bothers my stomach, and I cannot drink it anymore. It appears I would have to drink tons of alcohol to get the affect, or eat even more chocolate, than I already do. Because the average glass of red wine contains
832 micrograms, dark chocolate contains only around 14.5 to 18.5 micrograms.
Darn it, I was hoping that when I did the search I would have an excuse to be a chocoholic.
It is found= in all types of dark chocolate, including cocoa and the chips made by Nestle - they are already advertising the benefits.
The studies helped yeast, worms, flies, fish and mice. However, scientists warn studies in mice and rats do not always indicate human benefits.
It appears some studies were done on humans with cancer, and it did help them.
This was a small human study group. They also found the mice were stronger, and could out run the larger mice or rats that were on a regular diet, according to the professors it also may be a help for obesity. Because the mice and rats feed, it seemed to be leaner, and stronger. They did live slightly longer and when dissected their inners were more healthy.
The list of diseases it may possibly help were so long, I suggest you look it up and see if you need to try this - un -established fountain of youth- toot tout…
It appears Resveratrol is not drugs that can make you livelonger, they are not touting this affect but what they are hoping is it will make you healthier longer. Sounds good to me.
In addition, I noticed the professors sure looked younger, but they looked a little blue in color.
I am wondering if it will, you know, turn you purple or something.
Anyone wanting to be a human guinea pig on the study can obviously over ride the science of it, and start taking it now, because it’s a natural ingredient not regulated by law. Let me know if you take it, I am dying to know. If it works I sure want to -take it but I am not sure I want to be the first to try it. How about you?
Please read comments- I wrote about trying Resvertrol on them. edited 08-25-09

Since you've mentioned we're going to be the lab mice, I think I'll have to pass. Won't be buying this product until they're sure.
There were products scientists say were miracle cures but after some time had turned out to be unsafe.
I have decided to try it for three months, and report back to you on it all.
I ordered it from an online company but used the phone- I never like to put my credit card in the machine. when I called they were very pushYsales people.
they tried to get me to agree to let them keep charging my card and sending.
I told them No thanks
but I will let you all know how it goes- just for fun and to see and since it is a natural vitamin. otherwise I would never allow myself to be the lab rat here- also I asked the sales person where they - got the resveratrol and she "DIDN'T KNOW" LOL
Update – the date is June 4th, 2009 I have been taking Resveratrol since January when I first started I took two pills a day and felt I had more energy – then I cut down to one a day due to the expense and found I felt tired again. I just re- ordered and am taking two a day again. I have not noticed any anti aging affects however; I have noticed I do feel more energetic if I take two a day religiously. When I called to order the Resveratrol, the sales person informed me that people have reduced their cholesterol by taking it I do not have high, cholesterol, so I do not know if this is true. By the way, the ingredients the sales person would not divulge when I ordered are in reality a Japanese herbal plant not wine.
I will continue treatment- and let you know if I look any younger - thus far NOT>>>>!
I thought I would update this writing. I tend to be a skeptic on claims but I must confess after taking this= supplement I do feel more energy. And, I have found more energy to exercise and I do feel better and I have the last few months received many compliments from family and friends- that I look better than I have in years. I would like to add I do take other vitamins and use other things to improve my skin and health. I have worked on improving my diet, plus added a mile a day or more riding my bike I would like to say- I believe this supplement has improved my quality of life!

I just use natural means, why be a guinea pig for others, they get the money and ruin us in the process.
