"CHANGE STATIONS NOW ..." every 30 seconds the robotic female voice reminds you to move on to the next station!

When I first joined Curves in February of 2008, I believed that I could transform my body from one with an unhealthy BMI to one that measures up to the name "Curves", in a relatively short period of time. Now, don't get me wrong, like they say, 'you didn't put the weight on overnight, so it will take time to lose the pounds and inches.

I last worked out at my local Curves during August of 2008. An out of town job + the stress of performing all of the new job requirements made it very easy to rationalize why I did not have the time to devote 30 minutes at least every other day to maintaining my physical and mental well-being. Slowly but surely, my muscles lost their tone, the scale slowly began to creep upwards and I began to feel like a real slug once again.

All it took for me to get motivated again was coughing and popping a button off a pair of summer pants that fit me very nicely last year! Fortunately, muscles have memory, and after this - my second day of working out at Curves - I already feel like I have lost a few pounds. There is something about walking around with a slight soreness in my muscles that makes me feel youthful and strong!

And .... when I have my first monthly weigh-in and measurments taken - well, that is when its time to indulge in a pedicure or just a little something that will reward myself for my accomplishment; a reduction in inches and hopefully pounds. I say hopefully because it is known that muscle weighs more than fat. What I like to go by is the way my presently tight clothes feel on my body.

SO LADIES -   if you are sitting on the fence and KNOW that you need to get a move on, do consider "Curves" as a possibility to meet your health and exercise needs.

AND ....  as a business opportunity, you will want to check out this link ...  for Curves franchises.

I thought that Curves was just a gym for women. Had no idea that they weigh you monthly. Of course that would be extra incentive to keep losing the extra pounds! Good luck with your efforts at popping NO MORE BUTTONS. LOL

Thanks for the comment Peggy and yes, they weigh and measure you to see how many inches you have lost. They great thing is that it is not a "meat market" atmosphere and there are women that are in better shape and worse shape than you.
