Reverse Email Search
Do you need to find out how to do a reverse email search?
That is, how to search an email to find out the contact details of the person or business that owns it, or alternatively if you have a name or physical address, search to find an email address for it.
There is a huge range of reverse email lookup web-sites, some free, some paid, some reputable, some not.
Here are some very important things you should look at before making a decision on which web-sites to use.
1. Reputable - Is the web-site reputable. Does someone, somewhere vouch for the website? Has someone used it before with good results? Is the website itself connected to a reputable site such as clickbank who will ensure you can get a refund if your not happy with the service.
2. Pricing - For the paid web-sites, is there on-going charges, or is it a once off cost.
3. Membership type - Is it a membership web-site, where you get to go back and reuse it any time you need to, or is the fee paid a once only use.
4. Size of search records - Do they have millions and millions of records available for searching stretching back many years? This is vitally important, because if they don't have many records, changes are high that you won't be able to find your information using their services.
5. Search type - Do they only allow searching for a given area, or is it truly a worldwide search?
6. Searching options - Do they give you a simple interface that allows you to just enter the details in and get a match back, or do they teach you how to search so that in the future you can search without assistance.
7. Support - Is there support available to answer any queries you may have, or if you get stuck?
8. Money back guarantee - As mentioned above, reputable web-sites will offer a money back guarantee if not happy. It seems basic, but if a web-site does not stand behind it's service and offer a guarantee, it should raise serious alarm bells!
9. Other services - In addition to what you are looking for, does the web-site offer additional services at no cost? For example some web-site will offer background reports free of charge included with the service.
A few month back, i went though the process of search for an email address of a friend I had lost contact with over the years.
I tried I believe pretty well all the web-sites offering a reverse email/contact lookup and in most cases I was disappointed with the results.
After much frustration, I found Mike (my school friend's) contact information, and decided to put together a table showing which web-sites I found that truly did offer a decent service and more importantly fulfilled my requirements and the ones listed above.
Please read my comparison of reverse email lookup providers web-page where I break down the web-sites that meet the above criteria so you can decide for yourself which is the best one to use based on your requirements.
I have personally tested the services of all three providers so I am speaking from experience when I say they meet the criteria, and will most likely find the information you require.
Best of luck with your search, and please leave me a comment if you have any questions, I'd be only too happy to assist.
