Reverse Funnel System - Hope or Hype for 2008?
58My guess is if you are reading this article, you have already seen the ad headlined "Systems Work, People Fail" followed by the lovin-life & loungin picture of Ty Coughlin. According to the site's live feed stats as of this writing, RFS has created 6.64 million dollars in commissions for its members since it launched 23 weeks, 5 days, 21 hours, 32 minutes and 52 seconds (and counting in real time) ago. Is this hope or plain hype?
The basic concept of Reverse Funnel System is to allow any person, from any walk of life, whether a marketing guru or the beginning novice the ability to generate a lucrative income in a reasonably short period of time. In a nutshell, any person with a computer, internet and email access can create wealth using the built-in features of the automated online system partnered with the multiple stream incomes.
In very large letters, the site goes on to say "You are buying into a Real Business - An Exact Replica...." Scrolling further down, the site continues to state,
"1. You will be using your own time & money to place ads.
2. You must be willing to dedicate at least 5 hours per week to learning & implementing MY system; the actual times you work is completely up to you.
3. You should have at least $2K-$5K (minimum) in start up capital to get your business off the ground. This is a REAL business, that generates a REAL income."
Reverse Funnel System requires a $50 application fee. This fee is required to move on after you have read the above details along with very specific details of how this automated system works. If you receive approval links, then you proceed to the explanation of the first income stream; the first investment. This simply made sense to me and back at the end of October of 2007, I made the decision to join this opportunity.
I do not have a marketing background, simply years of working in the administration field. I did not have networking lists already accumulated to jumpstart a new business. I did not have a partner or business associates I could just give a "ring" and ask them to try this out. The site did say that the goal was $5K in 60 days with a money back guarantee. I was willing to give it a good go. At my 60 day mark, I was not able to request my money back. Fortunately, following the built in training, doing some independent research and making a daily effort, I exceeded that goal and haven't looked back.
I am continuously amazed when I see postings or receive emails of those who seemed to be surprised there is a financial investment in this opportunity. I have actually had an email sent by a gentleman who thought he was threatening me by saying he was turning me into his State Attorney General for spam and fraud. This was sent after he double-opted in. When I stopped laughing, I didn't hesitate to reply to his email (he stated he was sure I would not) and simply explained that I would like him to offer the same invitation to his State Attorney General. After all, who wouldn't appreciate this type of legitimate residual income. Actually, think of the downline that kind of exposure could create! He did respond again by taking another look at RFS. To date, he remains a pleasant contact.
I do not believe that RFS is for everyone; nor is everything offered out there for me. But I will say this, I enjoy how I earn my income. That is the obvious secret to wealth in any business. I did not leap out of the gate and become a millionaire. I did make the investment for this venture and was able to recoup a profit in the first 45 days. I can't say if any other system would give me this kind of momentum, I have tried a few others which did not.
The greatest thing for me is being able to be a novice and have a business that creates direct results for my efforts. I say effort, because there is no overnight millions to be had for me. It takes action on my part and a willingness to be positive to each interaction I encounter. As I continously learn, I find myself becoming a "Nichenpreneur."
I have also learned that not all applications are approved. Success to me is not about $50, but rather is dependent on the genuine desire of the applicant. Without the desire to succeed, the support I can offer will wither. A waste to us both and my earnest intention is to pass on what works for me to those interested in doing the same. In such cases, I contact the applicant personally and refund the fee.
So when it comes to making money with a home business, is RFS hope or hype for 2008? I suppose that is totally up to you, the individual investor.

Interesting perspective. I have always wondered about the RFS....I recently stumbled across a new and upcoming blog i believe that offers a different perspective. I am glad that RFS is working for you!

Excellent, sensible, on-target hub from one Western PA fan to another. You cannot start a legitimate online business for nothing. It takes an investment of time and money and the RFS tells you right up front. I've used it and it does work. It is expensive but the ROI will still yield you more than you put in. I am using a sort of mini version of something similar now that works very well and is much less expensive and you can find the info on my timeshare hub.
