Using She Told Me to promote your website/hubpages
61She Told Me is a new website, which is a cross between a social book-marking site and a revenue-sharing site.
They allow you to submit URLs for your blog posts, hubpages, squidoo lenses etc, and each time you submit a "scoop", a unique URL is created, in much the same way as Propeller does. This URL gets indexed by the search engines in it's own right.
The site allows you to vote scoops up - if your scoop gets sufficient votes, it is published on the front page, gaining additional backlinks.
Using She Told Me for backlinks
When you publish your scoop, the title you choose not only goes into the SheToldMe URL for your scoop, but the site you are promoting gets anchored on this text too.
If you look at the example in the picture above, the title of the scoop gets repeated at the bottom, where it says Read More, and the hubpage, Squidoo lens or blog post you are promoting gets anchored on this text.
In my experience thus far, the SheToldMe scoop URL gets ranked very quickly. It's functioning almost like an Ezine article, ranking higher than the hub or lens you are promoting. Google seems to like this site - how long that will last is anyone's guess, but for the moment it's working well.
Revenue Share
SheToldMe also shares revenue with those who publish scoops.
They say that they give 100% of Adsense, which might lead the uninitiated to assume that all the Adsense blocks belong to you, but close reading of their FAQs suggests that you get 100% of the Adsense block located closest to the title of your link - i.e. you get one Adsense block 100% of the time. The other blocks belong to SheToldMe. If you refer someone, you get a block on your referral's page underneath the tags (so the page will get one block with the Adsense ID of person you referred, one block with SheToldMe's ID, and one block with your ID).
They also monetise with Chitika, and you can submit your Chitika acount number to share in that too.
The SheToldMe pages look rather crammed with ads - but the layout appears to work as the clickthrough rate is decent.

Comments
Hi Silver Rose. I agree on the comment that SheToldMe pages look rather crammed. Guess they figured you will anyway click to another site if you want to read the scoop so why unclutter the page. But, personally, I don't really like spending time there. I just scoop some of my hubs, view other scoops and get out, all in a matter of minutes. But that's my take. Wonder what other people think of this?
Anyway, thanks for this hub.
