I am continually astounded by how much money people spend on having something as stupid as rhinoplasty done. A face can be perfectly beautiful with a less-than-perfect nose, and a slightly unusual shape can add depth and character that might not have been noticeable otherwise. Personally, I prefer my men to look natural -- and if that means his nose is going to have a slight bend, so be it! Honestly, take a look at Adrien Brody over there to the right. The man is absolutely gorgeous, and a bit of crookedness in the nose is not going to change that. Besides, can you imagine if he had a nose job and everything went all perfect? How utterly, utterly boring.

Uma Thurman has an unusual nose as well -- do you think a man would turn her down if she offered to take him home with her? I think not. She's beautiful in her own way, and that particular way just happens to appeal to men everywhere. Remember her in Dangerous Liasons? I do. I remember thinking she was stunning, and I never even realized that her nose was a bit unsual until some twattish snarky reporter wrote about it -- beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and I think you'd have a hard time finding anyone who thought Uma was anything less than beautiful.

Gerard Depardieu isn't really my type (although he does look pretty sexy in this photo here) but the man is lusted after by women everywhere. Do you think Frenchwomen look down at him because of that nose? I don't think so. I think they don't even notice it -- which is precisely the case with most people with that sex appeal quality he seems to have. Anyone can be sexy, you don't need a perfect nose to have women chasing you about!

Granted, if you've broken your nose and want to reset it to its original shape, no one is going to begrudge you that. But one only need to look at Owen Wilson to know that even a broken nose can't get in the way of sex appeal!

And what about Babs? I really admire Barbra Streisand for keeping her nose all these years, despite the snarking she's had to endure from the media. That nose might not work on anyone else, but it definitely works on her, and I think she's quite lovely -- her features work on her, and that's actually the case with most people, whether they realize it or not. Not only has her nose not hindered her career, it hasn't gotten in the way of her love life, either. I mean, hello? James Brolin? The hottie from Hotel? If you can land a man like that, you are not lacking in sex appeal. Go, Babs!
