At the end of the day what makes men and women happy?

This is a question which requires a big and eloborate answer. At the end of the day , what makes us happy ? ...

In general, Human Life starts from the inputs we receive from out external environment. These inputs decide our hapiness at earlier stage.

If we take our happiness in evolution process, Only kids and people with 100% wisdom are the happiest people.

As a kid , one will be happy if one gets what he wants. The kid won't have any inhibitions, strategies and future insecurity. He will ask for some thing which he needs and if he gets it ,happy ,otherwise also, he will be happy.

As you grow, the probelms start with comparision , the thoughts to become something , inspiration from outside and not from within. Slowly the happiness dilutes and the fight starts.... then the unhappiness starts....

happiness, we found when we are in persuing our passion, when we are working on the things which we like most, when we won't get tired after working for 20 hours in a day.

happiness, we found when we see the smile of a kid , when a player wins the medal, when we do an hour work out, when we have our favourate food when we are hungry.

Yes, I agree children are happy until external stimuli like parents, teachers and others in authority squelch their happiness and free spirit! Good points in this article.

With all due respect I beg to differ, Linc2010. Reversing your reasoning this means that we can always blame our circumstances and others for our unhappiness.

The basic thing is that everyone wants happiness, no one wants suffering. And happiness mainly comes from our own attitude, rather than from external factors. If your own mental attitude is correct, even if you remain in a hostile atmosphere, you feel happy.

Kids are happy even if external stimuli disturbs them because they don't have any inihibitions and judgement. As we grow , we are conditioned by the external world which forms the basis for our behaviour. We have to gaurd ourselves from negative environment . Yes I agree, happiness depends on our own attitude, but in forming our attitude, we have to fight a lot to find what is correct for us .
