Carlos Slim born, January 28th 1940 in Mexico City. He has surpassed Bill Gates as the richest man in the World. His father started his own business at 14 so we know where the hustle comes from.

Bill Clinton has said that 'Carlos Slim is the world's most important philanthropist that no one has ever heard of.' Well, maybe I have shared something that will enlighten you.

He makes telecommunication in Mexico possible to put plainly. Any call in or out of that company is money in his pocket! Not to mention cell phones, oh yeah....you didnt know?!

I believe that his company America Movil was the pioneer in bringing forth prepayment plans with cell phones. He focuses on education, health, and employment in Mexico. He studied Civil Engineering at the National Autonomous University of Mexico where he also taught Algebra and Linear Programming while studying for his degree. His passion for History, Art, and Nature makes him an interesting person of character. His favorite sport is Baseball and he has even written several articles about it. He is socially conscious and a people person.

It is people like him that we must familiarize ourselves with and not just the Bill Gates and Donald Trumps of the US, but other financial mavericks globally.
