Google suggest is a new tool that, while you’re typing, (in a pop up), gives you other popularly searched terms to help you make your decision. This gives rise, however, to a plethora of strange, humorous and unusual suggestions.

For example, type in, "why is there a" and you'll get, "dead Pakistani on my couch?" as a suggestion. This isn't really the fault of google suggest, its just that a lot of the suggestions will seem completely ridiculous to certain portions of the population. Fans of the show lost, will get this is a reference to one of the recent episodes.

Fans of Robert a. Heinlein and classic science fiction in general will understand the meaning behind, "The moon is--a harsh mistress"

Some of the weird suggestions are simply humorous puns.

"Why is Canada... in afganistan?" This can mean Canada is in afganistan, or is a phrase referring to Canadian soldiers being stationed in afganistan. Why is Europe...so expensive?" Can either be a question asked by the backpacker traveller, or else the multi-trillion potential buyer of the continent.

Other weird suggestions are the result of esoteric but popular lyrics searches. For example, why are gummi bears.... chasing me? Is a line from a popular children's rhyme.
