Rihanna continues to publicize her February 2009 altercation with fellow superstar Chris Brown to the media. Rihanna is scheduled to appear on GMA at 7:00 a.m. on November 5th and 20/20 on November 6th at 10:00 p.m. Rihanna suffered from domestic violence a night before the Grammy's when Chris Brown assaulted her for grabbing his cell phone who she suspected was from his former female manager. Bruised pictures of Rihanna was released by TMZ Entertainment Media and widely distributed over the Internet. Chris Brown was sentenced to community service and five years probation. Chris Brown also was ordered to keep his distance from Rihanna.

It would seem that normality has set back in with both of the singers as Chris Brown released his new album Crawl that surprisingly was not met with a lot of negative criticism. Rihanna's new album "Russian Roulette" was released a few days before the Crawl album

Now Rihanna is finallly beginning to talk with the media about what she calls, "humiliation."

In recent magazine articles, Rihanna reportedly said about the ordeal that she felt like she had fallen asleep and woke up as Britney Spears because all of the negative press about such a negative situation. Rihanna in contrast to reports over the Internet that the TMZ photo could not have been her, admitted that in fact those photos were of her assault from Chris Brown. Rihanna said that dealing with the media blitz after the altercation was "humiliating."

Rihanna said in printed media that her goal now is to speak for young women who are afraid to speak up about domestic violence. The publication that provided information about this most recent interview was Glamour magazine. Rihanna said that the media attention and the bruised photo of her only added insult to her injury. Rihanna said that after the incident that she awoke the following morning to see helicopters circling in the sky about her place and reporters circling the streets.

Two officers are under investigation for leaking the bruised photos of Rihanna. Rihanna said that she was shocked and humiliated to find that the two officers were women who released the photo. She said that she felt like people was making a fun thing out of it over the Internet and that it was her life. Rihanna said that she did not know that her decisions surrounding the Chris Brown situation affected so many people like her many fans who she does not know. Rihanna told Glamour magazine that she feels more aware and stronger now because of her impact of her actions on the general public.

Rihanna says that women keep domestic violence as a big secret. She says that the positive thing that comes out of her situation is that people can learn from what happened to her. Rihanna says that she want to give as much insight as she can to young people in reference to domestic violence. Rihanna said that she represents a voice that really isn't heard. Rihanna says that now she can help speak for those women. Chris Brown is 20 years old and Rihanna Fenton is 21 years old. Chris Brown has also been order to attend a year of counselling on domestic violence for the attack on Rihanna in which he was charged with felonious assault for hitting, choking, and biting Rihanna in a rented sports car.
