Rihanna Speaks the First Time of Chris Brown Assault on GMA

It is no surprise that in the competitive music industry, Rihanna chose the week after her Russian Roulette album to discuss her well publicized altercation with Chris Brown. In February of 2009 Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna as he was driving his sports car. TMZ entertainment spattered Rihanna bruised photo for the world to see and had the online community not liking Chris Brown too much for the act of domestic violence. Chris Brown was tried in a California court and sentenced to community service and ordered to keep his distance from Rihanna. Chris Brown was also given five years probation by the California court and had to attend domestic violence counseling.
Now Rihanna for the first time will speak out about the night that ended her relationship with Chris Brown though they were seen together soon after the assault. Chris Brown has release an album as well called "Crawl" that is supposedly an apology to Rihanna. It will be interesting to hear what Rihanna has to say about the beating that had everyone talking except her. Jay Z comment on the abuse and P Diddy supplied a mansion for the two of them to talk things over soon after the altercation. Oprah had a segment on her show where she warned Rihanna that if she was abused once that their is the likelihood that the abuse could happen again. Oprah said that friends should not hurt friends.
The interview is scheduled for Thursday on Good Morning America November 5th of 2009 at 7:00 a.m.. The Rihanna interview will again be televised on 20/20 on November 6th 2009 at 10 pm. Both telecast will be televised in eastern standard time.
From the released photo of Rihanna and Dianne Sawyer of Good Morning America, the interview seem to be one of thought provoking details of what happened the nigh of the Chris Brown assault. The Rihanna domestic violence assault spurred a band to make a record in protest against Chris Brown's that was played on national radio.
Rihanna is reported as saying the following at the interview with Good Morning America during her first publicized interview with Dianne Sawyer about her feelings about Chris Brown at the time of the beating: "He was definitely my first big love." During the interview on Good Morning America, Rihanna is reported as saying "This happened to me . . . It can happen to anyone..."
