My Review Of The Rim Blackberry Tour 9630
Now that I have a Rim Blackberry Tour 9630 I want to tell you all about its good features and whats not so great about it. The phone has world wide roaming capabilities and it has Bluetooth,GPS, and a 3.2 megapixel camera.
What I Really Like About The Rim Blackberry Tour 9630
I really like the sharp display and the Qwerty keyboard is so easy to use. Much easier than other keyboards on other phones I have tried.
What I don't like about the Rim Blackberry Tour 9630
What I don't like is the phone lacks Wi-Fi and I feel the browser falls far short of browsers I have seen on other phones. You will also notice a shutter lag on the camera and you can't save applications to a media card.
However with the QWERTY key board if your a messaging fanatic ( I'm not ) you will just simply fall in love with the Rim Blackberry Tour 9630 because typing messages with this phone is easier than almost any other phone I have seen.
So bottom line the Rim Blackberry Tour 9630 is a great phone if your a messaging fanatic and it does have fast performance but this phone would have been the perfect phone if it had Wi-Fi and a better browser. I bought this phone for $199.00 but you really need to shop around and demand the best deal you can get because I found this phone selling from $199.99 all the way up to $699.99. You can use your phone up to 300 minutes on a single charge so there is another plus for the good side.
This phone is one of the strongest smart-phone offerings from Verizon Wireless and it has been available since July 12th for $199.99 with a 2 year contract and a $70.00 mail in rebate. And Verizon gives you a load of accessories with your phone like a swivel holster, USB Cable, a SIM card, a 2 GB microSD card, a Global Support kit, a software CD and lots of information and reference materials. Over all unless you plan to be taking lots of photos this phone would be a great phone for anyone but the lag time on the camera drives me crazy. They could have done a better job with the camera and Wi-Fi should have been in this phone. The browser also needs to be revamped.
