Roasted Mushrooms

Once again.. you're stumbling across this recipe thinking is this guy for real, I am, I love something as simple as this recipe. A great idea for these roasted caps especially for vegetarians, is to use portobello caps for this and after roasting them use them as "hamburgers". Put them on buns and put lettuce, tomato, onion, whatever else you want. Mushrooms are so woodsy and if you're on a diet or a vegetarian, can be substituted for meat but still give you that meat texture and taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Mushroom caps (your favorite type)
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  1. Heat your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Toss mushroom caps with oil and place on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Roast for 10-12 minutes
  4. Serve
