Many thanks, Jimmy. I'm glad to be back.
James you have precious information on your page. I'm hoping you can help me out with my little issue, I happen to have a gold rolex which I've inherited from my grandfather, the thing is that it doesn't match any of the pictures you have posted, nor the ones in the rolex official web page. Everything would be easier if he had kept the papers that come along with the watch, but he didn't. If you feel like giving me a hand with this i leave you my email address, that's manuelarg@yahoo.com. Of course I'm trying to value and hopefully sell the watch. Sorry for any grammar mistakes, not a native english speaker ;) and thank you for your time.
Good day Manuela,
Models change over the years, so it's very likely that your grandfather's watch doesn't look much like the contemporary models you see profiled here. What I suggest is finding an authorised Rolex jeweller, and asking him/her to verify the watch's authenticity and possibly appraise it for you, as well. He/she might point you in the right direction for selling it as well.
Cheers and best of luck, Manuela.
You can find an authorised jeweller by contacting Rolex at one of the addresses in this Hub:

Thanks for the index Hub -- a great idea.
You have lots of good information here. While the description of Rolesor as Rolex's gold-and-silver combination would appeal to the layperson... there is no silver content in the watch. It is steel and gold, as you correctly state on the respectuve page.
Great posts on Rolex! Very educational!!! Just getting into them myself. Thanks for all your time & effort on all this work! GREAT JOB!!!

Thank you for sharing!! I think we all have a passion for excellence, in products, in places and even in people!! The excellence in Rolex is a wonderful standard to which we should all aspire!!
I didn't notice any links on Rolex bracelets?? I have two, matching man's and woman's, purchased in SF from Neiman Marcus, never been worn, with all the paperwork!! At the time, mid-1980's, I didn't even know Rolex made bracelets!!
Thanks for the wonderful information!!
Blessings to you always, Earth Angel!!
nice hub! great information!
I'm looking for an email address to contact rolex so that they can advertise on a friend's website. can anyone lead me in the right direction?
WOW is all I can say. This is probably the best info for Rolex watches that I have ever read. Sorry though, I am a Tag Huer fan ;-p
You are have an excellent site for a sample on "how to write a proper hub." The wealth of information will keep the Rolex fan coming back for more information.
