Say you want to purchase a new Rolex watch, or service the one you currently own. Your best bet for a quality service is without a doubt an official Rolex affiliate.

True, you won't find a Rolex affiliate at every corner in the same way you'd find a Starbucks. But the company has a network of 3,000 accredited watchmakers in 25 countries, so there is a good chance you will find one near you. If not, the Rolex website lists its major affiliates in all regions of the world who can tell you where the one nearest to you is. Rolex currently has affiliates in:

  • Mexico City, Mexico
  • Milan (Milano), Italy
  • Mumbai (Bombay), India
  • New York, USA
  • Paris, France
  • São Paulo, Brazil
  • Seoul, South Korea
  • Singapore
  • Taipei, Taiwan
  • Tokyo, Japan
  • Toronto, Canada

  • Athens, Greece
  • Bangkok, Thailand
  • Brussels, Belgium
  • Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • Caracas, Venezuela
  • Cologne (Köln), Germany
  • Hong Kong, China
  • Johannesburg, South Africa
  • London, United Kingdom
  • Madrid, Spain
  • Manila, Philippines
  • Melbourne, Australia

Why should you go to a Rolex affiliate rather than just any jeweller or watch distributor?

The answer is, you don't have to. Any competent watch specialist will likely provide a high-quality service (after all, they too have a reputation to uphold). Basically, a company telling a customer to go to a dealer accredited by the company is good marketing and good business for the company and the dealer

But if you feel that that you are spending a lot of money on a watch and you want to buy it from someone who Rolex says is reputable and knowledgeable (by means of an official certificate), by all means do so. By the same token, if you already own an expensive Rolex but need to have it serviced, you might feel more comfortable entrusting it to a skilled and experienced Rolex affiliate.

In addition to the main international affiliates listed above, Rolex maintains a list of other locations offering "official" after-sales service:

  • Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
  • Shanghai, China
  • Sydney, Australia

  • Beijing, China
  • Beverly Hills, California, USA
  • Dallas, Texas, USA
  • Jakarta, Indonesia

I bought a Rolex watch 26 years ago. It has been a fantastic watch. Unfortunately, on July 14, 2008, some one stole it from my locker at the YMCA, Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. I have the bill of sales, the serial number of the watch and other particulars. I have registered a police case. Is it possible to find this watch and retrieve it?

Good luck to Mr.Murahari.I hope you can find it one day.Very difficult but not impossible.I own several Rolexes, including one s/s datejust from 1980.I wear one all the time but the other ones keep them on a safe and the one I wear I do not remove it from my wrist never on public. If somebody want to see my Rolex in public, sorry I keep it on my wrist.I do not remove it for no one.I truly hope you can find yours.Good luck.R.Garcia

HI! I really like your article. First of all it's well written and second of all it's the only place where I could find something about Rolex affiliates.

I am writting an essay on Rolex and I can't find, anywhere on the internet, what are Rolex's distribution channels like. It would be great if you could help me. :)
