Romeo and Juliet play script was inscribed writing of William Shakespeare, with the romantic hero, Romeo and his beloved, Juliet. It is a tragic story, yet has its impact even in this modern era and it is also a most constantly and frequently played play on the screen and play. The tragic romances of Romeo and Juliet play script belongs to the sequence of tragic romance, and stretches back to the world of antiquity.

It is assumed to be penned during 1591 to 1595, but the publication year is 1597. The tragically history of Romeus and Juliet written by Arthur Brooke of Italy and Palace of Pleasure penned by William Painter were the two sources behind the making of Romeo and Juliet play script by William Shakespeare.

The play included the dramatic structure with smooth switches on comedy to tragedy, detailed script on minor characters, sub-plots embellishing the story, the appealing poetic forms, and its changes, as the character grows are the secret at the back of William Shakespeare’s version of Romeo and Juliet. The weaving of the words does magic upon the readers.



Although, there are some strong weak points noted by the critics on Romeo and Juliet, however, it is considered to be the one of the master piece of Shakespeare’s play. There are also a few psychoanalytic critics who criticized Romeo and Juliet regarded it as high psychological complex with sympathetic models makes the readers to experience sickness. There are also some feminist critics who were against the events in the play.

Let the critics criticize the play, but every century celebrates the Romeo and Juliet play script with restoring through theatres and in various forms. Every fresh technology tends to inscribe the play in its own version, making it new for the trend and younger generation.
