The Roomba 560 is the latest model of the iRobot vacuum cleaner which will clean your hard floors and carpets for you. Yes you really can sit back and watch while a robot cleans your floors for you.

The earlier Roomba iRobots had a few problems but there seem to have been largely corrected in this new model.

The new Roomba also has 30% more cleaning power than the earlier designs. It also has better brushes including an exxternal brush which sweeps dust out of hard to reach corners and right into it's path.

The Roomba 560 also has a useful scheduler which allows you to programme it to start work while you are not at home. So you literally can return home to a clean floor!

The iRoomba vacuuming robot returns to its self-charging Home Base to dock and recharge between cleaning cycles or when the battery starts to run low.

The Roomba 560 advanced power system consists of a fast-charging battery, a three-hour charger, and a power source that supercharges the unit for up to 120 minutes of continuous cleaning, covering about three to four average-size rooms on a single charge.

What do the Roomba 560 reviews say about battery life? A lot of Roomba 560 reviews say that the battery life isn't quite what is is advertised to be and you get around 90 minutes of charge. But as the Roomba automatically finds it's way back to it's charger then there is no need to keep checking on it.
