There are several places to find Rottweiler puppies for sale.  There are so many Rottweiler pups; especially German Rottweiler puppies for sale online, classifieds, Rottweiler rescue programs, pet stores, and, of course, Rottweiler Breeders.

Rottweiler puppies are very, very cute. You'll want to buy or adopt the first Rottweiler pup you come across.  Therefore, you should research and plan before looking for Rottweiler puppies for sale.  It should be noted that, like other puppies, there are multiple concerns when choosing a Rottweiler puppy.  Your goal is to search out Rottweiler puppies that are healthy; can be easily trained; and will be friendly and get along with other dogs and humans.

Options for Finding Rottweiler Puppies

Searching your local or inline classifieds can be a great method for finding Rottweiler puppies for sale, but do ensure that the seller is a Rottweiler breeder.  Another option is a Rottweiler rescue. When seeing a cute Rottweiler puppy in a mall or pet shop, you may be tempted to buy, but don't.  You won't know the puppy's origins are whether the parents/lineage are pure or not; Another concern is that these pups may have come from puppy mills.

Tip: A good Rottweiler breeder should have the parents on site for you to observe and examine.

Rottweiler Puppies Health and Disease

Rottweiler dogs are prone to: elbow dysplasia, cardiac problems, and hip dysplasia. Also, Rottweiler puppies have been known to get patellar luxation.  Make sure to look for signs of these health risks in Rottweiler puppies for sale and in the Rottweiler parents.  This will ensure that you get a healthy Rottweiler pup!
