Rubik's 360

How many of you have actually completed the Rubik’s cube without taking it apart?  Come on, don’t lie.  It was a very frustrating puzzle game for me when it came out.  I was only 11 in 1980 and it took me several months to finish it, though I’ll admit I did take it apart once or twice to prank some friends.

Later, in my 20’s and when I was in the Army, I found myself again playing with the cube.  I had become pretty good at solving it in a matter of an hour or two, instead of the months it took as a child. My Army buddies would have races to solve it and the loser always had to buy the next case of beer.

Well, the creator of that 3x3x3 puzzle has come out with a new brain teaser called the Rubik’s 360  The Rubik’s 360 is a puzzle that consists of maneuvering 6 small balls through a couple of holes in a center of a clear center sphere and then again through a secondary sphere until they reach their color coded compartment on the outer sphere.

Test your skills with Rubiks 360

Unlike the original Rubik’s cube, there’s no taking this one apart to cheat.  Also, there is no mathematical algorithm that can easily solve it. This puzzle relies on manual dexterity and like the original, there is only one solution.

Check out the offerings I have on this page for some great deals on the Rubik’s 360 and also the original Rubik’s Cube.
