Properties of Rudraksha

Rudraksha are the eyes of "Rudra" or Lord Shiva. It is obtained from the dark berries of Rudraksha tree scientifically called the "Elaeocarpus ganitrus". The word is derived from the Sanskrit language consisting of the name Rudra (Lord Shiva) and ākṣa ("eye").

There have been miracles in the lives of people wearing these extraordinary beads, including mine. The effects are supposed to take from about 2 months of wearing. I had failed my driving test several times. I passed the driving test on the second month of wearing the blessed Rudraksha. My friend's lazy son passed his exams with flying colours after wearing the Rudraksha. Something must have made him study for the exams, I believe it must have been the Rudrakshas. Many throughout the centuries have also witnessed miracles after wearing the Rudraksha.

Besides having spiritual properties, it has several medicinal properties. Although it has been used in "Ayurvedic" medicine by Hindu holy men since ancient times, very little has been actually done to investigate its claimed medicinal properties. Nevertheless, some elegant and novel studies have been performed to examine the pharmacological properties of the Rudraksha.

Here is list of medicinal properties about the Rudraksha.

Claimed medicinal properties of Rudraksha

Nervousness, insanity, lack of concentration, epilepsy, melancholia, mania, other mental disorders, insomnia, headache, jaundice, hypertension, fever, cholesterol lowering capabilities, diabetes, stress, and impotence.

Proven medicinal properties of Rudraksha

Defensive accomplishment of E. sphaericus (Rudraksha) extracts in experimental bronchial asthma, protection of guinea-pigs against bronchospasm, microbial activity against several microorganisms including against Salmonella and anticonvulsant activity.

Curent use of Rudraksha in Ayurvedic treatment

Elaeocarpus sphaericus fruits are used in Ayurveda for mental diseases, epilepsy, asthma, hypertension, arthritis and liver diseases.

These investigations and user testimonials through the centuries suggests beneficial properties of the rudraksha that requires more scientific investigations for the benefit of mankind.

Rudraksha beads, the holy beads scientifically called as Elaeocarpus Ganitrus. Rudraksha comes from Sanskrit word and literally stands for the "eyes of Lord Shiva"( means rudra=shiva, aksham=tear of an eye). Lord Shiva is an important deity of vedic age (125000yrs B.C.) and is depicted wearing rosary of Rudraksha beads in the icon of different historical era. So it reveals that the merit of Rudraksha are first realized by Shiva himself and handed over to benefit of later generation. This holy Rudraksha beads have been worn by the people of Nepal and India for thousand of years to maintain physical and mental health and to gain fearless life on their spiritual path to enlighten and liberation.

Rudraksha Indra stood since 1990, that originally as the Farmer Rudraksha that planted thousands of Rudraksha trees, and sold to Exportir that arrived to Indonesia. However after 1990 we worked to sell Rudraksha with the good Quality and it was guaranteed his authenticity because we at once reaped him from the tree, with the relatively cheap price so that could in reached out by all the circles. Rudraksha Indra had several aims: Our Mission 1. Rudraksha Indra was dedicated to provided the high-quality thing. 2. Rudraksha Indra was dedicated to maintain the price stayed cheap for the profit together. 3. Rudraksha Indra was dedicated to give the price that was cheap without reducing the quality of the thing. 4. Rudraksha Indra was dedicated to give the thing that really in his authenticity guarantee, because rudraksha direct in reaped from the tree.

I live in Hawaii, and am benefitting just from eating a few fruits a day. We have a tree in our yard that is fruiting for the first time. All we knew about the medicinal benefits, was that it was good for the heart. We can honestly feel a subltle, but apparent difference in our energy. There is a feeling of heart expansion, more patience, and stress relief. I'm not kidding, there is actually a feeling of well being when I eat them. What an amazing tree and fruit. These bright blue balls fall to earth, and you can eat them. It tastes like a cross between a sour apple, and nectarine skin. Its not at all sweet, but a pleasant sour. I am very much wanting to know more about its medicinal properties, and how to use the fruit, dry it and then how to best prepare it in a paste or mixture. Thank you for any info.

Lord Siva is so merciful to share his tears with earth.
