I'm sure you're wondering how to go about taking running as a hobby for beginners. With the advent of the television and the computer age, most people find themselves without exercise, unhealthy, and feeling nothing but lethargic. Given this setting, more and more people in this day and age are slowly developing an inclination for maintaining their fitness and keeping a healthy physique. They scour the net for resources on how to have a better body, or how to get more athletic (which is what I suggest you do as well, since there are tons of resources online). On my part though, I believe that starting to do running as a hobby, is one of the best decisions you can possibly make in life. For one thing, you get to experience progressively building up your muscles and general wellness as running usually strenghtens your cardio vascular system as well as strengthens your muscle systems in your leg and core. In addition, for those unhappy with their current weight, you get the hands-on opportunity to lose some pounds by burning your fat (especially in long distance mileage runs). Doesn't it seem appealing? I have heard stories of unhappily overweight people who shed more than 20lbs in a span of 5-10months from maintaining a stringent running schedule. You can do the same. Lastly, taking running as a hobby, especially for beginners, develops one's endurance both physically and mentally. This is important because you need endurance, to physically last through longer distances. The second aspect is very much important because it carries over to other areas in life. It gives you that added mentality of knowing that you can outlast anything and conquer it as well.

Now there are of course other articles online which delve more deeply into the different programs you can follow in making yourself a better runner but for the purposes of this articel, I believe that the merits I had discussed is enough reason to start taking running as a hobby for beginners.

Yep running is really the best route to go if you want to get/stay fit, and is a lot more motivating if done outside then anything you can do in the gym.

It's just really a matter of how motivated are you to do it, and if you have the time to dedicate to it.
