Reasons to Run
Running, one of the most basic things we can do. It requires little more than placing one foot in front of the other, yet it is one of the greatest challenges humans face. Many people don't run, and you can see the effects of it, and for them it can be extremely difficult to begin. There are many reasons to run such as: it keeps you in shape, improves sleep, gives you energy, and best of all it gives you a sense of accomplishment when you finally reach your goal.
Marathon Runner
1. Lookin' goood!
One of the main reasons people run, is to look good. Running helps people slim down and replace some of their fat with muscle, or just build themselves up. It is one of the best ways to get trim and to build endurance.

2. Sleep...zzz
Easily one of the best things in life, sleep, is a lot easier to come by after you get rid of some of that excess energy you have just laying around. After you have spent some of that energy, sleep comes like an evening summer gust of wind, relaxing and soothing you into a deep slumber. With sleep also comes the benefits of a clearer mind, time for your body to recover, and reduced stress levels.

3. Feel the Power!
Along with the sleep comes a lot more energy on days you don't run, and even on days you do. Running builds up endurance and muscles that require more energy. What happens when houses need more electric? The power plants make more by using more resources. So like houses and power plants, your body compensates for the demand of more energy and when you have excess it is stored until needed later.
4. The Finish Line
Probably the best feeling in the world, is when you complete a goal or a task you have worked hard to accomplish or succeed at. It gives you confidence and an appreciation of what you have done for yourself. It also allows you to set up more goals and requirements for yourself to complete once you finish the ones you are on, and finishing something you started just makes you feel amazing.
