Why in the world would the Republicans choose Rush Limbaugh to be the key note speaker at the Conservative Political Action Committee Conference. Do they not think we remember the legal problems Limbaugh has had in the past with prescription drugs. Or the hate he spews forth daily on his radio show. To me it seems like the Republicans are stuck on stupid and in case you wonder I do not support either the Democrat or Republican Parties.

And it is reasons like this that I do not. How could anyone in their right mind choose Rush Limbaugh to be a speaker at anything.

Do you know that Rush Limbaugh turned himself in to police on April 28th 2006 on prescription drug fraud charges but the prosecutor dropped the case in return for Limbaugh continuing drug treatment. Limbaugh has admitted many times including on his own radio show that he was hooked on prescription drugs.

And this is the man that the Republican Party has as a key note speaker at the Conservative Political Action Committee. How or why would they choose Limbaugh. Did they not have anyone else they could ask to be the key note speaker. First they chose Sara Palin to be McCain's Vice Presidential Candidate and then they get Limbaugh for the key note speaker at what is supposed to be a very conservative group. But I guess it was okay if Limbaugh was going to say the politically correct things and bash the Democrat US President. Limbaugh is on the air everyday spouting his hate filled messages that are anything but American.

Ask yourself what would men like Lincoln, Adams, Washington or even Kennedy think of Rush Limbaugh. Or the current state of the Republican party. I really think its time that Americans drop their support for either the Republicans or Democrats and choose a third party instead. A party that would really have the interests of the American Party at heart. We as Americans have set idly by for long enough. We allowed hundreds of thousands of jobs to be lost in this country when we allowed the majority of all textile jobs to be sent overseas to China, or Mexico. Why did we as Americans not demand the end of textile imports to the USA. The politicians have used political misdirection to get the American peoples minds off the really important issues and off on things that they can keep you interested in on a daily basis.

Clinton and his intern should jump to mind just about now. As should Bush and his Iraq War that no Americans really wanted. But yet we continue to allow the Democrats and Republicans to divide the American people and keep your mind off the important issues.

What about the 16.000 People living on the streets in downtown New Orleans? How about the 33 Million Hungry People In America today including 13 million hungry children. How can we as Americans continue to turn our backs and refuse to see the real problems that our country faces. Even one hungry child should be enough but we have 13 million hungry children right here in America tonight.
