Russ Dalbey's Infomercial: Winning In The Cash Flow Business
The first time I saw that misleading commercial for Russ Dalbey's Winning in the Cash Flow Business was a memorable one. I could remember that night, up late, nothing interesting to watch on cable. Being a person who has always wanted to earn more money to supplement my income, I stopped at a channel that was showing an infomercial.
There were some people claiming that they had made large sums of money doing some simple stuff. The way it was all put together, I felt that it would be something I could do. I watched attentively as he showed the kits and as people testified of the money they had made using the system. It didn't even cost that much compared to what I thought it would cost for such a system and the best part was I didn't have to have experience.
What A Big Lie!
By now I was already calculating numbers in my head and what I was going to do with the money (gullible me.) I decided to make the purchase on the internet since I wasn't located in the United States. Thank God I wasn't too. I would have bought that system that night. Being that I was in the Caribbean, the screen came up with "Not Available in Your Area". What a bummer. My heart sank.
Then I typed in "Russ Dalbey" again and got the shock of my life.
There were hundreds of people who had gotten scammed by Russ Dalbey's Winning in the Cash Flow Business!
There were stories of people who had bought into the program and then asked to pay outrageous amounts of money for the system to work. Some of them up to $12000! Just to make the system work. There were pages upon pages of these storied from people all over the United States! What a big lie!
Top Scams To Watch Out For On The Internet
- Surveys - No, they wont pay $5 - $150 for surveys. Its not that easy.
- Data Entry/Home Typing - They tell you one thing and when you sign up its another thing.
- MLM - The only ones who make the money are the ones who started it or got in early.
- Get Rich Quick - Making money on the internet takes work. Its not a work 2 hours and watch your bank account fill up thing.

Finally Supplementing My Income
Well since I know Russ Dalbey's Winning In the Cash Flow Business and making money from cash flow notes was a scam I decided not only to make people aware of it but to tell them how I am now supplementing my income with an online business.
After being disappointed with Russ Dalbey's program, I decided to look for ways to make money online and came across this website where this guy was making money promoting online products. I was skeptical about a lot of stuff online after the Russ Dalbey encounter and would not even look at sites that claimed I could make thousands of dollars online. I knew people were doing it though but which of these sites, I did not know.
When the guy emailed me a recommendation for Wealthy Affiliate and I saw the site, I said to myself, 'Come on man. No way!'
Just like with Russ Dalbey, I searched the internet and could only find people saying good things about Wealthy Affiliate. Not one bad word about it. I figured I would just spend the $29.99 to see what it was all about and cancel before the next month. When I signed up, I was pleasantly surprised. This was a site that taught you how to run an online business doing internet marketing.
When the month was up, I didn't cancel. No scam here. I have been with this site for 7 months now and finally supplementing my income. I'm not making thousands a day like the site says but some of the more advanced users are. The guy that recommended the site is one of them who is making that kind of money and I have progressed from making $100/month to making $100 every day now.
If you are looking to get Russ Dalbey's Winning in the Cash Flow Business, don't. Stay very, very far from it and be careful what you see on tv. Be careful what you come across on the internet too. Most of these make money books online are scams. If you want to supplement your income consider learning affiliate marketing. It is a very rewarding business.

Russ Dalbey is a TOTAL CROOK! If I treated my cusomers like this, I would be in jail.
just cause u dont have what it takes, you also try to scam!
winner, Russ Dalbey is a crook and he deserves to be exposed so more people would not get involved in his scams.
I have what it takes now, more money in my bank account (thats what Russ Dalbey wants) but I'm not going to give it to him. I hate scammers.
you say: There were pages upon pages of these storied from people all over the United States! What a big lie! why don't you include a link to these "stories" in your site. honesty = verification SHOW US THE PAGES, remember we are on the internet...where are these pages?
winner and honesty are you the same person?
Like I did... type "Russ Dalbey" into Google. Its not a good thing when the second and third results are from www.infomercialscams.com and www.ripoffreport.com respectively.
Let me help you out. Go here --> http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=RNWO%2C
I am in the Dalbey program and I am mad today about it. I feel that since I wasnt able to do a program for personal resons I am now a failure in their eyes and I am not happy about it. They made me feel today that since I couldnt do a program that cost money I was someone who quit or didnt finish things even though I am still in the reg program doing it on my own without the xtra $$$ classes. So Im not sure what to do now.
good post, thanks for the very important information. This is very helpful.
Hey, thanks for this info. I'm sure the cash flow note program works but Russ Dalbey is definitely in it to exploit people and scam them out of their hard earned money.
Be careful people.
If you think he such a crook don't f!!! with him than just stop knockin that man
It is all true about Russ Dalbey, just check out ripoffreport.com....there are 7 pages of poor innocent people like all of us trying to make some extra money, that he is taking all of our money...I am one of them who is now $3,000.00 in the whole and they won't refund my money....Better Business Bureau has 346 complaints against him......His company is under investigation also!!!! I only wish I knew all of this before I ordered it......It really pays to check the internet and the BBB before you do anything.....I learned the hard way....It's going to be a long fight to get my refund, but I will get it!!!!!
Now hold on a second guys, I started the Russ Dalbey " Winning In the Cash Flow Bussiness" also and I made $3,000 with my first note. The only reason why customers of the program spend thousands of dollars in cash is because they choose to purchase the unecessary bussiness classes that go along with it. The only thing you really have to pay for is the list of people who actually have the notes from your local county courthouse, and the low cost membership to the website. Yes it is alot of work and you do not get rich necessarly but I do think it is worth it. And PEOPLE don not buy the classes that they offer you, Barnes&Nobles has books that can help you get a recognition of how the cash flow works. Good luck, by the way, I am only 18 YEARS OLD and I just used the money I got from working at Target to get started. Right now I'm paying for college with this system and I no longer work in a department store. Just do your research and you'll be just fine. :)
I have a friend who went for broke with Russ Dalbey and his note buying business. One of my friends(note seller) posted at my friends site (note buyer), and my friend was not told about it. It is my belief that the technical staff at Dalbey institute has those student websites structured for Russ Dalbey and his staff to win. It is my belief that when people sign up at those websites the technical staff at Dalbey Institute gives those leads over to the students of their choice. Many of the students are the main Investors at Dalbey institute, so it is dog eat, dog eat at R. B. Dalbey Institute. In other words, when a note seller signs up at someone' s website, that website operator should receive an email informing them that someone signed up at their website. Sometimes that website owner might receive a notice letting him know he has a potential note seller, and sometimes he may not. If he receives a notice, it might be sabotaged by the technical staff at R. B. Dalbey. The technical people sabotage the potential note sent to the note buyer (website operator) so that they can work that deal for themselves, or give it to another student of their choice. They let you do all the leg work, all the marketing, and they reap the benefits.
One of my other friends who was also a student at R. B. Dalbey had a note deal going on. This friend had found a half million dollar note seller who needed the cash immediately. My friend posted the note at the R.B. Dalbey note posting page and was sent a copy of the info with an ID number. When that friend read the the copy of the note sellers info that Dalbey's Technicians mail to him, it was all all sabatoged. All of the numbers on that copy were all zero's. When that friend tried to go back to R. B. Dalbeys site to correct the wrong info that was sent to him, Dalbeys technicians made it impossible for that info to be corrected.
Meanwhile someone else working from Dalbeys Istitute was working my friends' note buyer behind his back. When my friend did talk to his note buyer, his note buyer told him that several Investors had already called him and made him several offers. Finally they told him that his note was unsellable at that time, and that perhaps in a month it would be sellable. What they were doing was stealing my friends note buyer right from under his nose. My friend had opened a company using Dalbey's Investors, but he did not know that they would be stealing his note buyers.
the website to see all the people who have been scammed by Russ Dalbey is cash 4 cash flow scams. You will see hundreds of people including myself that have been mislead by this pathedic man.
Hey kenny,
I was (noticed I said was) part of the system and found no real income from this. Russ gives basics and then you can get more for $xxx. This is really a cut throat business and you have to do alot and spend alot and be positioned just right for it to work. There are so many other groups that promote the same things under different formats like newsletters and mail lists.
I cam so close to closing to transactions that cost me both time and money ( not to mention emotional stress) that it is not worth it unless you are directly involved with a note brokerage.
Russ and assorted folks really don't make money with notes they make it with basic information sales. That is where the real money is: educational info and marketing it.
note brokerage????
hello I am currently a student and have not been asked for more money. I am figuring things out on my own it is not rocket science. I only partially ask a question as a metaphor. I enjoy what I am doing and hopefully those that are starting out do really well
Yes, Dalbey appears to be a scammer from all I've read. I too, got one of his booklets. You can make money from buy a note, but it involves risk and there is nothing guaranteed about it. The payor on the note can simply stop paying. They you are left with a building or real estate you don't want and can't take care of. There are legiimiate licensed loan brokers you can contact. I don't advise it, unless you have a specific propery in mind and do a through title check of existing encumbfances. Or Course Dalbey says nothing about risk, he just says that if you buy his worthless garbage, you're return is guaranteed. I'ts not, nothing is, and no one can gurantee a return on any investment, doesn't matter who you are, Bill Gates, or the guy down the street.
WE ALL MUST DO OUR HOMEWORK BEFORE INVESTING IN ANY THING. THATS WHY MOST OF THE TIME THEY COME ON LATE AT NIGHT. THEY PREY ON PEOPLE THAT WANT TO BE RICH THAT ARE IN DEBT. SO WHY NOT SPEND YOUR LAST MONEY TO BE RICH. LOL WHY WOULD ANY MILLIONIRE HELP U BECOME RICH THIS WORLD IS SELFISH. THAT WHY HES SELLING THE COURSE . WHY NOT SO IT FOR FREE SINCE U ARE SO DAM RICH. SHOW AND PROVE ....THEY CANT SO TYPE NAMES IN GOOGLE AND SEE WHAT COMES UP. SOME THINGS SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE AND THIS IS ONE OF THEM. STOP DREAMING PEOPLE UNLESS ITS YOUR DREAM.....
Carl W. .... You obviously did not read the info on Russ Dalby well enough!!! The Dalby system is not buying
Carl W. .... You obviously did not read the info on Russ Dalby well enough!!! The Dalby system is not buying the note yourself, the system tells you how to find, and will even sell you names of people who are recieving monthly money from a note in your area... with the system you contact the note owner nad attempt to convince them to sell their note, or at least consider selling thier note, then you contact an investor and tell them you have someone who is considering selling their note, and go from there! You are basically a bottom feading middle man! This is a tedious often drawn out process resulting in frequent dead ends! Depending on where yo live it may even be near impossible to make money doing this! Being I live in Las Vegas This might actually be a better deal what with all the Jackpots won daily.... however being the actuall buyer of the note would make more money, and also be more risky, not to be done unless you have alot of money to invest! Long story short The Russ Dalbey program teaches you how to be the middle man.... it is a crap and difficult way to attempt to make money in what is basically a telemarketing gig!
This article must have been written for the sole purpose of getting sign ups. In your article, you keep mentioning how it only cost $29.99 to sign up, but wheni look at the FAQ's on the site it says $39.99 a month or $29.99 amonth if you pay the whole year in advance. So . . did you pay $39.99 and wait to see how things turned out or not????
To me it sounds like you are discrediting the Russ Dalbey program to gain credability for the wealthy affiliate program.
Hey Phil, at the time when this article was written the price of Wealthy Affiliate was $29.99 without the one year option or the $39.99 option. I paid $29.99 and I'm still doing so. The reason for the price change was that the site was increasing in the value it was providing that many felt that the owners were giving away waaaay too much for that price. Its still very affordable and relatively cheap compared to similar sites.
I'm not trying to discredit Russ Dalbey to gain credibility for WA. I'm just giving my experience and research and the lesson to be learned here is that you must always research these types of programs, even Wealthy Affiliate if you feel it necessary.
Most people who visit this page are just like me when I first started out and I'm just giving them the opportunity to follow the same path I took. There are legitimate ways to make money online and legitimate opportunities. Wealthy Affiliate is one of them.
It's your choice to purchase the mentoring and coaching as this is what the thousands of dollars pay for. Although it may be a useful tool in your success. It really just boils down to each individual, the level of confidence and, what kind of success they desire with the business. You can utilize their help line with any questions. It's not necessary to spend thousands of dollars on someone motivating and mentoring you (although this works for many). It's not very hard to be self motivated, goal oriented, patient, and knowledgeable about what your doing.
there is nothing guarantee
I purchased this package about a month ago, and I became very skeptical when I was getting calls constantly from the staff of Russ Dalbey, offering the "winners circle" I kept wandering why so much desperation. I finally contacted a talk radio host who seems very informed with consumer issues. I got a return phone call a day or two later. Although they could not give me specifics on a particular business; the response was do your homework, "scam alert" that was all I needed because when I asked for the cost of joining the winners cirle I heart between $2,000-$5,000. I receive a call again just today from the Dalbey Institute and kept telling the guy on the other line that I was not ready to make a decision. He was so persistant; I finally told him that I did not want to have this conversation and that I would call if I decided to join. Something seems rather fishy to me.
YOU HAVE TO BE CRAZY TO BELEIVE ANYBODY OFFERING YOU THAT YOU WILL GET RICH WITH LITTLE OR NO WORK.IT'S JUST LIKE ALL THOSE BUY PROPERTY WITH NO MONEY DOWN AND SEND ME 39.99 AND YOU WILL BE A REAL ESTATE MILLIONAIRE IN THIRTY DAYS.PEOPLE NEED TO USE THERE HEAD AND THINK ABOUT WHAT THEY INVEST IN BECOUSE IF SOMEONE IS OFFERING YOU INSTANT RICHES IT SHOULD SET OFF A LIGHT IN YOUR HEAD TO STAY AWAY.BEING RICH TAKES HARD WORK THATS IT THATS ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, why does Russ Dalbey's representatives keep calling me asking me to join classes that are over $2000.00? LOL
Good effort....!!
Most of the people on this site have trouble making money, that is true, but what is very evident of all this is that Russ Dalbey could care less about any of us!!! He is raking in millions because Americans act like sheep going to the slaughter, Help me Russ, Gimme a break!! People wake up, and smell what he is shoveling, He is a predator just like all the get rich schemes on the Internet. Hard work and perseverance makes for a good life, There is no magic bullet! But, stay away from this guy !!! Russ Dalbey does not care. He is just using the public to line his pockets. Good luck
Hey Kenny:
Absolutely right! I bought this thing in 1996 for $37.00 and worked like hell; sending letters, making phone calls, contacting realtors, bankers; all sorts of things. I managed to actually get one person interested in selling a note, and at that time, Dalby's people brokered some of the deals. I called them to make the arrangements and got stonewalled, thereby creating a potential seller with cold feet. Never tried again.
Thanks for sharing Mark. Russ Dalbey's Winning in the Cash Flow Business is totally not worth it.
You people. Most of you are just great- I love reading your back-stabbing comments. You can't just ignorantly blast something like this just because you feel intimidated by how it works, and by what it would take for you to succeed at it. I simply look at it this way: Are there such a thing as "notes" and "noteholders"? A) YES. Are there really people out there (besides Russ Dalbey's group) who FINDS notes and looks for a buyer? A)YES. And, do these "notefinders" actually make $1000 or maybe $5000 or MORE on a transaction that goes through? A)YES!! If the business is based on a way to make money that has already been PROVEN TO EXIST, then why are you people crying foul?? YES- many people have been scammed to pay THOUSANDS for getting "Special" training. But that training is not needed, just the info in the kit you initially purchase is all you need to find and refer notes. It is not the program or Mr.Dalbey himself how is a scam or a scam artist, it is YOU who are the scam, because you are not motivated, and you are QUITTERS. The only way this program will work is for you to read the material and FOLLOW IT EXACTLY. If you do that and STICK TO IT, you will make money. Almost every negative post I read in here is BUNK, with no serious commitment on your parts to really see this thing through. What next? You gonna try some internet website that is already set up for you and will generate you free fortunes? Come on people. Pick something proven, that you KNOW has worked for people in the past and stick with it till you succeed.
I worked for Russ Dalbey for a little over two years.... I can tell you all this... Russ Dalbey is the biggest fraud I have ever seen. The "Up-Sell" will never stop. If you have money, they will figure out a way to get it from you. Even if you have to use seven credit cards and a check to pay for it, they will do it. Say you buy the "Boot Camp" for the "Select Few" (ANYONE CAN GET IN THIS IF YOUR BANK ACCOUNT IS BIG ENOUGH) once you get there you will be pitched yet again to buy the product of the week... The sale works like this... You order the kit from the TV... You get it in the mail... then they will blow up your telephone until you answer... then the sale begins... Each and every person has the exact same "Chance" to get into each and every program they offer.... YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL... You are only as special as your bank account is big.... Believe it.... I have actually seen sales people and trainers giving high fives and saying things like "that was as easy as shooting fish out of a barrel" once they get your money.
If you want a refund do this.... Call them on the phone.... Say "I am going to contact the Attorney General as soon as I hang up the phone with you" then say I am also going to contact the BBB" watch how easily you get your refund.... The customer service department is trained to handle these calls with an extreme urgency as Dalbey is under investigation. There employees are not allowed to shred anything or even delete an email...
Dalbey Education Institute is losing money on a daily basis and they have went through three rounds of layoffs this year alone. The economy is kicking their butt and they will do and say most anything to get YOUR MONEY!
Here is another thing to know.... Russ Dalbey works both sides of the business making money on you two fold... Not only does he rip you off with the so called training.... He will then sell YOUR notes and make a profit on them.... When they tell you you are :guaranteed to have at least one not deal in the works before you leave Boot Camp" that could be a note that will put $50 in your pocket... And most likely will be brokered by Russ and one of his many other companies...
This guy is so full of himself that even his Executive staff rolls their eyes at the total BS that comes pout of his mouth... The only problem is he pays them so well that they put up with it. His entire executive staff is a bunch of under qualified puppets that will do his biding and pretend that they are actually doing something good for people to justify their wrong doings to themselves. Hell... his own wife who is the president of the company started out in the Customer Service Department , slept with the boss, got knocked up, and secured herself a position as president.... from $10 an hour customer Service Rep to President in a year.... With a degree in forestry... and no business training at all... This is who is in control at Dalbey Education.... The $10 an hour customer Service Rep who screwed the boss....
People... this is where your money is going... To russ Dalbey and his private Jets, his multi Million Dollar homes in Florida and Boulder... TO his BMW, Land Rovers and Ferrari... He has made his fortune padding his wallet with your hard earned dollars and giving you nothing in return....
Trust me people... You WILL NOT MAKE MONEY!!! maybe one in a thousand makes money... This is the truth....
The sales staff is the most corrupt group I have ever seen.. After they scam you they head out to the parking lot to smoke their weed and do their drugs.... Hell I even recall one of the employees shooting up Heroin in the bathroom and being escorted from the building... He was so stoned he forgot his needle and spoon in the bathroom...
DO NOT GET IN BED WITH RUSS DALBEY....
Oh yea... one more thing.... Rip Off Report... It says they conducted some kind of investigation and found that Dalbey Education did nothing wrong... Look at each and every post... it is started with some statement to this fact... Russ Dalbey paid Rip off Report ONE MILLION DOLLARS to put these statements up... Rip off report saw him coming and sucked him for a cool million.... EVERYTHING YOU READ out there is REAL.... Russ Dalbey has an entire team of people in place posting comments that are good even on sites like this... I can almost guarantee that at least one of the good comments here came from one of Russ Dalbey's Staff....
STAY AWAY PEOPLE.....
I just want to know if anybody knows where or How I can get my $4,500 dollars back!
Yes, Dalbey and gang are definitely devoid of ethics. I saw the ad and the claim of starting a business without anything out-of-pocket. The claims are a complete lie. Most of the training materials are about how to market this business to find notes. Just jumpstarting something like this would costs hundreds or thousands of dollars in materials, postage and phone bills. It's also a complete lie that someone could put any of these deals together in six minutes as claimed. There are several contracts and forms to be completed with each deal which will take quite a bit of time to complete. Assuming a deal does go through, you will have to wait 30-45 days or more for escrow to clear before you get paid. It's simply not a business where you can expect immediate returns as the ads claim.
I can't say one way or another about the opportunities to make money dealing in notes, but Russ Dalbey et al are lying to everyone about this being something where one can just read the materials and start making money right away. I am going to call my credit card company and dispute the charges for this course based on fraud.
I find it disgusting that broadcasters even sell airtime to scammers like this. The next time I see Russ Dalbey on television, I hope it's a 60 Minutes crew doing an exposé on him.
I also posted this on Ripoff Report. After seeing what they posted, I can only think that maybe Ripoff Report has sold out.
I was also scammed by Dalbey for $3000, I wish I had seen this site earlier. If you have been scammed please file complaints with the federal Trade commision and the Better Business Bureau. They use deceptive advertising and should be stopped.
You people are STILL not getting it. One person in this thread already said he made $3000 off his first note deal. You are all mad about the thousands you have lost and want your money back. Perhaps there is someone spying on your efforts and "stealing" deals from you and you get scammed out of your deals. Your first mistake was your lack of confidence in yourself, and your second was paying a large sum of money for the "special training" that you seem to have lost out on. You got trained and followed their instructions and apparently someone swiped the notes out from under you.
Now, FORGET about your training "partners" and get your original information packet back out, and follow the directions. Russ Dalbey's "Note Generator" can be a useful tool as well, with that you can type in a county and state and get a large list of leads from it, but all you need to do is go to your local county courthouse. Get the leads, and follow your packet's information and start making calls. In booklet #2, "List 'em", on page 34 is a checklist of paperwork you will need to send the note holder and the investor and that list gives you detailed, step by step instructions regarding the order you need to mail them out. The just start making calls and follow the phone script.
This program is not for everybody? But nearly anyone can do it. And FEAR is the only enemy you have that will cause you to fail if you do not conquer him.
I will make it very simple for all of you. If you do not do this, you will always be stuck in your dead end job, working for someone else the rest of your life. There are other options out there, many are illegal too. This is one way to make money that can work, but you have to be motivated enough, you have to want it enough, to go for it without quitting. If you can get through ONE note deal, you can succeed. There are other ways of making legitimate money out there, but there are so many thousands of actual scams, finding a good one will take you years. This program is not a scam because it is based on a form of business, (referring notes to investors) that is proven to already exist. I am going to go for it, you have your own choices to make. If I fail I will get back up and keep trying because IF, JUST IF, I can succeed at ONE deal, and make $3000 or more just once, I will be doing it over and over. And ALL it is costing me is minutes on my phone, and my personal time. My other option, go back to work and look for a crappy job. I am sick to death of being sick to death of working for someone else. I WANT A NEW MUSTANG! I WANT MY OWN HOUSE! I WANT THAT 56" LCD TV!! I will not ever get those things and enjoy my life unless I do something about it, and paying attention to your doubts and fears is not an option for me. If I listen to you, I am finished, and I will never better my financial situation. How many deals have you really tried to make? How many note holders have you talked to? If the answer is not 20 or more, then you never really tried this program. Russ Dalbey himself says in one of the 3 manuals, that only about 5% of deals go through on the first call, and that EIGHTY PERCENT of note deals go through after the 5th+ call to the same note holder. I am going for it! And I will ask every investor if they will cover the closing cost- if not, I will take an additional 3% off the top just like the manuals teach you. You like making thousands in profits for your employer? Then stick with your employer. I would rather get 100% of my profits, in MY OWN ACCOUNT. This is legal, I HAVE to give it my all. The alternative is simply unacceptable.
Shortly after I was gullible enough to order the Russ Dalbey system for about $27.00, I was inundated with phone calls day and night from CASH FLOW BUS and WINNER CIRCLE. I used my phone number blocking software to block these numbers, but they kept calling with new numbers. I have blocked about 27 different numbers so far. Can somebody help me?
Not only did they tell the same lies in response to my BBB complaint, but didn't offer anything other than to honor their ridiculous policy of forcning me to pay to ship it back regardless of their misrepresentation.
I have to say, I've never received a single phone call, but they have been disrespecting my space by spamming the hell out of my e-mail address, to which I've sent back some not-so-polite repsonses.
Dalbey is clearly a scamming piece of garbage, so I don't believe him or anything his shills are posting here. Maybe there are a few people making a little cash from this plan, but it seems there are more people out there just getting scammed into spending large sums of money on "education".
I've already contacted the state AG's office and the FTC is next.
Those that fail, have really never tried hard enough. Anything you do with a commited attitude produces positive results. In my experince you will find more people that fail than the ones that succeed, its just the way life works. Russ Dalby's systems does work, but YOU have to make it work, many try for a month or two and end-up quiting because they dont have the stamina to succeed, and if you research the people that have attempted to start something, for the most part they have failed at anything they have done in the past, and end up blamming the programs that are out there.
i just want to know how much derrik makes by posting this crap!!
YOU PEOPLE MUST ALL BE ASSCLOWNS! EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN TV INFOMERCIALS IS BULL SHIT. SMC....EVERYTHING "THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW......ETC....AND THIS CON ARTIST. ANYONE WHO BUYS ANYTHING IN AN INFOMERCIAL IS A MORON! USE YOUR HEADS FOR MORE THAN HAT RACKS PEOPLE!
RUSS will not send anything by FAX MACHINE also can not find street address for co. Ido not think is a Co,
Kenny, I was a just about to order the Russ Dalbey system when I decided to google his name and found you...lol. I'm glad. Thanks a million! I'm looking around elsewhere including the Wealth Affiliate site you recommended. First thing I noticed they offer to send you FREE info. That's a switch.
Thanks again :)
Yeah, the guys who run Wealthy Affiliate are the real deal and really want to help people. The free info is just a glimpse of what you can get on the inside.
Here's a bio of Kyle and Carson, the guys who run the site: http://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/about_us.php?a_aid
It is a SCAM!!! Plain and Simple... Period! Why don’t you all just email Russ and Cathy Dalbey themselves.... Below are their email addresses...
Maybe they will give you a refund if you ask real nice... Forget the Attorney General and the BBB... You will not get anywhere there... his real fear is the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Make sure you email them And customer service and tell them you are going to complain the the FTC... They are breathing down his butt as we speak... If you do not get what you want then, as soon as you hang up the phone with Dalbey Education Institute, pick up the phone and call the FTC. At least then you will know you are helping to bring this scum bag and his gold digging, money hungry, power hungry wife down once and for all. Lets expose his stupid self for who he really is! This guy is seriously the most paranoid person I have EVER met. Russ actually thinks he can run this company on his own... Funny... He really is an idiot! People just kiss his butt because he is the boss... There is know one there that actually has ANY respect for him. NONE!
Here are some facts about this scum bag....
FACT... Russ Dalbey has really has only done one... maybe two note deals in his entire life... Trust me... it is true... He made his fortune riping YOU HIS CUSTOMERS OFF!
FACT... He Divorced his wife, while she was recovering from a stroke after he knocked up the the receptionist... Then married her... and she became the COO of his company... now the president... Receptionist to COO to President.... She is HOT... this and only this is the reason she has the position she does... The Executive Staff and the everyone in the company laughs at her and makes fun of her. She is really an idiot!
FACT... There is not a single employee in the entire company that actually cares about your success.. Well I take that back... if you happen to be one of the lucky “one in a thousand” that actually closes a note deal then they will want you to come to the "Headquarters" so he can parade you around to his employees. Or better year... parade you around to people that fly in for the workshop that will cost you thousands to attend.
FACT... Customers are ALWAYS being made fun of. There is a wall when you walk into the building that says the "Wall of Success" which features customers that have closed note deals... These are seriously the only people that have ever closed a deal in this company... AND in the five years I worked for The Dalbey Education Institute these "Success Stories' were not changed even one time.
Fact... The "Wall of Success" is commonly referred to as "The Wall of Weirdo's" by ALL of the employees in the company. This is a FACT! You are ALL being made fun of and laughed at as you walk through the building...
FACT... Everything from the moment you walk into the building is scripted... If you look upstairs to the "Sales Floor"... That is the group of people that have ripped you off... Notice all the flat screen tv's up there hanging from the walls that are off. That is only because YOU are there... throughout the rest of the day... It streams the Daily and Weekly sales figures up there... that they DO NOT want you to see.
SERIOUSLY... YOUALL NEED TO KNOW THIS...
Russ Dalbey and his trophy wife Cathy have no interest in anyone but themselves. They have an entire team of people in place to make up and put out "Good Press" to the public about all of the Dalbeys "Good Doings" .
FACT>>>> FACT>>>> FACT>>> Someone above stated something about "Rip Off Report" being paid off. THIS IS TRUE! All of the stories you read there are true. ALL OF THEM!
This guy is making MILLIONS of dollars a year with this SCAM! Millions and Millions of dollars ripping you off each and every day!
Russ Dalbey and his Gold Digging wife (who will fire any woman who she think wants to sleep with her husband) are so living in their own fantasy world! They actually believe the lies that they tell to people. The really do believe it at this point. It is SICK! They are SICK!
Russ Dalbey is one of the bigest womanizers I have ever met. I can not tell you the number of his employees he has slept with... Basically if you are a good looking woman in this company you will go far... Until his Gold Digging Wife realizes that either her husband is sleeping with you or trying to sleep with you. Then she will feel threatened and fire you... Well she wont do it... She will just make the call to have someone else do it because she doesn't even have the integrity or guts to do it herself. HEY CATHY.... There are a lot of pretty girls there at DEI... Who do you think Russ has lined up to take your place???? Good thing you got that little “Insurance Policy” isn’t it...
So just email them direct... Maybe you will get what you want... I doubt it... and when you do not get it... CALL THE FTC AND COMPLAIN!
This company and Russ and Cathy Dalbey are the most un-loyal untrustworthy that have NO integrity that I have ever met...
Here is your loyalty....
email them direct....

Remeber... its a secret....
Russ has recently fired all of his senior talent or they quit and walked out the door... He is either intentionally running his company into the ground or is just too stupid to even realize that he is such an idiot he can not do it himself... If you spend a dime with him all you do is help him continue to rip people off.
I just want to warn anyone trying to get into affiliate programs. On the surface, this program seems like the real deal and fairly easy to do, however, it's not as easy as it looks and the advertising can get expensive VERY easily. Let me just explain my experience about 2 years ago:
1) While browsing the internet, I came across a program that teaches how to make money on the internet using the affiliate program. It was a step-by-step program that was very easy to follow, and came with a special offer that would give me a discount on Google Adwords, Yahoo, and another search engine, thereby giving me "free" advertising (it also included a free website and hosting for life, and plenty of free materials and training plus extras).
2) I followed the program step-by-step. Trust me, I did not want to lose my money and thought this was the real deal. I created my website, I set up accounts for collecting my commissions, and I used my free Google Adwords and Yahoo offers.
3) After a month of trying this program (all affiliate programs I have since learned are basically teaching the same thing and principle), I had spent a total of $800 in advertising and only made a total of $105 in sales that I couldn't even withdraw because the company I had made the commission through would not allow a withdrawal unless my total sales were over a certain amount of money (which I had acheived) AND contained sales from both Visa's AND Mastercard's (impossible if you have only one sale!). So my sales for that period were all for naught and I basically made no profits, but owed Google Adwords about $800. I had exhausted all I planned to invest in this idea and did not think it was worth taking a chance to see if I could make enough to see if I could at least withdraw the money I earned. The advertising was simply too expensive (and the best keywords are VERY expensive - they don't tell you this!).
Now you might wonder why I wound up owing so much money. Well there's no easy way to answer that. Firstly, I wanted to give this program a shot and time to work, and I had the money to do so. Secondly, I needed to make sure I tried EVERYTHING. And thirdly, I was completely caught off guard because I did not realise how quickly the cost of advertising would rise once my free offer was up... This one is an easy mistake and is made by MANY (as I learned soon after this experience).
I don't wish to knock anyone who's had success doing this, but I do think people need to be warned about this. Believe me, I'm no idiot, and this program seemed like something solid, which is why I set money aside to give it a fair shot. The problem is, it's just not what they tell you it is. You can get your website, hosting, and choose what you wish to promote (there are sites you can go to where companies will offer to pay you so much for a click or sale of their product on your site - they track it using a link they ask you to use). But the key and success of this is the marketing... AND THAT'S NOT CHEAP OR EASY! Why do you think there is so much money in the media? Advertisers pay MILLIONS to get our attention, and to become a marketer, you have to be willing to invest in the marketing. There may be ways around this at first, but not for long, and if you don't make enough money to cover the costs in the beginning, you've pretty much failed before you start.
Again, I do not wish to knock anyone who's having success with this - personal attacks are not my thing. I just think people need to be warned about the dark side of programs like these. Success is possible with anything, but generally it takes money to make money... That's not to say there isn't something out there that works either. I'm just saying this is not the answer advertisers will tell you it is, and believe me, I'd be willing to bet there's a hidden link on this HUB page where the author gets a commission for anyone who signs up for this program because even the companies that promote this program participate, which means once you sign up, you can get paid a commission to promote the program and make even more money. Same concept all over. Companies use YOU to promote their companies, thereby, saving them the hassle of advertising and costing YOU money instead of THEM (win/win...???). Very smart on their part, but be mindful, it's not designed to make YOU rich.
NJ, thank you for sharing your experience with affiliate marketing. There are some points I would like to address.
First of all, affiliate marketing isn't based on any one company and you do NOT need money to make money.
The next thing I want to say is that the training program you signed up to must have left out a lot of details to making money using Google Adwords.
One of the first things Wealthy Affiliate teaches you is how to properly set up your Adwords account so that it has the best chances of not losing more money than you earn. They teach you about relevance which I find I didn't learn from any training program before I joined them. If you're not relevant then people aren't going to buy from you thus costing you more money than you earn.
Another thing you should have done is stop your campaign after a certain number of clicks if you haven't made any money. This way you can go over your campaign and tweak it.
That said, there are ways to make money online without spending any money at all. This is why a lot of people are having success with affiliate programs.
The last thing I want to address is the last thing you said. If you advertise for a company and you don't make money, isn't it logical that they don't make money either? Affiliate programs were designed to make YOU money as well as the other party making it a win win situation. You just have to have the right training.
Don't sell yourself short. The good thing is that you did make money so you know its possible. If the training site that you used hadn't held back anything then you would probably have done a lot better. Or maybe you didn't follow the instructions.
Put this way, I'm having success with affiliate marketing so what is the difference between you and me?
Again... all of that is well and good, but you DO need money to make money with these affiliate programs. They tell you about all these great "training programs" to minimize the amount of capital you need, but the truth is you don't get something for nothing.
I'm not knocking anyone else's experience, but the truth needs to be told about these programs because, while it CAN be as simple as 1-2-3, it generally isn't, and it almost always will require money.
Hello again NJ,
That's one of the misconceptions of affiliate marketing. You do NOT need money to make money. Maybe after a while when you're starting to make money you can get into paying for ads and paying to host your own site and so on.
I know people who started in affiliate marketing, did it the free way first and then invested in their business from the money they made. So they started affiliate marketing with no out of pocket expense.
Here's how its possible.
Pick a topic that you know people have problems with and find a solution. Or pick a product (solution) then find out what problems it solves for people.
Do some keyword research using Google's free keyword tool and some competition research using Google's own search engine.
So far we haven't spent any money.
Sign up for Hubpages or Squidoo.com and use the keywords you found to write a one page article.
Link your related articles together and link to them from other webpages.
Free so far right?
Make sure you add your affiliate links to the program you're promoting and because Hubpages or Squidoo.com are loved by Google, you should be in the top search results if your competition research on your keywords was low enough.
Being in the top 10 results brings you the same traffic as PPC ads (the people that are paying). This can result in sales hence you started without any money so you're now making a profit.
Of course, I didn't go into details about all the steps because that would require a web page by itself but you get the idea.
Later on, instead of using free article websites you can set up your own site and pay for ads or just keep repeating the free process. The reason I recommend the training site, Wealthy Affiliate (http://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/index.php?a_aid=KI ) is because you can learn all this stuff on there so I'm not trying to swindle anyone. I'm just trying to help out.
Keny Luger,
How much do they pay you?? Are you hired by the company to just sit on the computer to respond to the ney sayers? Why else would you spend so much time and feel so passionate with your posts?? We all know that if you where really making money with this you would not care if anyone else started competing with you for these deals nor would you waste your time searching for posts agains the program.
Of course he is paid by the company... Russ Dalbey has an entire team of people in place to do just that.. Counter any bad Press... An entire staff dedicated to this... Kenny = TD< DS< hummmm
@Tos and Former Dalbey Girl
I'm not working for Russ Dalbey and I never did so they don't pay me. You guys must have misread something because I'm not defending Russ Dalbey at all.
I'm not even sure what you guys are saying but maybe read the post and the comment thread again.
Lastly, I don't sit by the computer all day responding to comments which should be obvious because you posted 3 days ago and I'm only just seeing the comment. I have an online business to run and thats what I'm doing.
Thank you guys for contributing.
PS. What is a TD or a DS?
