The following are the current ways you can add money to your RUSH Card.

1. Direct Deposit

You can add all of your paycheck or part of you paycheck via direct deposit from your job. You can also setup direct deposit from government benefits like Social Security. This service is completely free of any charges or fess.

2. CheckFreePay

You can use the Check Free Pay Service at any of the 10,000 location nationwide. Just give them your 16 digit card number and you can load you cash into your card. There is a service fee charge of $3.95 for this method.

3. MoneyGram

You can use MoneyGrams Express payment Service at the 28,000 locations nationwide. You complete the blue form and MoneyGram charges $3.95 for this service. On your blue form you will need the following information. Receive Code: 2495, Your 16-digit card number, Company name (RushCard) and the City and State for RushCard (New York, NY)

4. Tax Refund

Once you have completed your Tax Return and you are getting a refund have your money Directly Deposited into your card by giving them a routing number ( 044000037) and also you 16 digit account or card number. This is done the same way as if you had a checking account. This can only be done if the RushCard account has the same name as the Tax Return.

5. PayPal

Its simple adding your funds through PayPal just set up a Bank Account Number using your 16 digit account number and the same routing number as above (044000037). Its will also ask for the Bank Name of Rush Card (Jp Morgan Chase) and Type of account (checking).

6. Mail in a Check or Money Order

Just make payable to RushCard and include your 16 digit card number. It may take up to 10 days for the money to reach your account. Send to Address Below.

Russell SImmons will pay you $5 dollars to tell you friends and family members. Once they join you will get $5 added to your RushCard.

Since the RushCard program has some much to offer and easy to manage that you will be happy to tell your friends and once they get active like you, Russell with have $5 dollars added to your RushCard. You have a 100 friends you can make an extra $500 each month. Not really the greatest amount but I will take $5 dollars for just telling someone. Yea there are fees just like any Debit or Credit Card but the good thing is that they are not high like regular band and Credit Card Fees like a $32 dollar over the limit fee or a $39 dollar late fee (even if only one day late.)

The Rush Card is not for everybody and is good for some people and a very bad idea for other people. If you have good credit and can control your spending this is probably not a good purchase for you and you probably would not even consider purchasing one of these prepaid debit cards. The cost can be very high and you could be wasting lots of money before the year is over. It cost 19.95 to get one of these cards and you will spend a couple of bucks every time you use this card. Russell Simmons Has had to defend himself several times this past year because the feel he is taking advantage of people struggling to get credit. My opinion is that he is a very smart man and he really is helping a lot of people. People with Debit cards that cannot control spending will have 5 times more fees. One example is you run out of money for the month on your debit card and you purchase a few little things that cost a buck or two and you made 5 or 6 of these its going to cost you big. Banks charge an average of $35 for each purchase no matter how much the amount. Just $30 dollars over could easily cost 200 hundred dollars. So yes I believe the Rush Card is good for some but bad for others.
