Russian Dating Scams - Tale No 2

I met my wife through internet dating. My wife comes from Ukraine and is the best thing that ever happened to me. We have now been happily married for 4 years. My wish is that more men get to meet the incredible women of Ukraine and Russia but that at the same time that anyone using the internet dating systems be aware of the dangers and scams that can come upon unsuspecting people. By publishing these stories of actual scams, hopefully people will enter with their eyes open and in so doing eliminate scams and scammers.

This is the story of a russian lady who we will call Elana. Elana enthusiastically entered the internet dating game with the one big goal in mind. She wanted to find the man of her dreams from a foreign country and leave her small home town, where the men were not to her taste, and go to live in a new country. Escaping her past and starting a new exciting future was all she could think about.

Well true to form she had many responses to her profile in a incredibly short time and soon she had narrowed the field down to one lucky guy from Nelspruit area, South Africa.

Cutting a long story short, it was within a few short months and she was on the plane to sunny South Africa. As usually happens on along trip, you meet up with someone and have a few small discussions. Elana was fortunate to meet another Russian lady called Natasha. Elana and Natasha started chatting and low and behold it surfaced that Natasha had been in South Africa for quite a period and was happily married to a South African man. Before parting Natasha and Elana exchanged phone numbers and said they would call sometime and discuss how things were going. Elana did have the house phone number of her new partner. Little did Elana know that the phone number was her lifeline and could possibly save her from the problems that were waiting to engulf her.

Well Elana arrived at Jo'burg, South Africa, where she was met by her dating partner. They took the 2 hour trip to Nelspruit by car and not much was said on the trip as Elana's english was not that great yet and her partner was Afrikaans speaking. However the beautiful scenery along the way and the excitement of a new country occupied Elana's mind.

Soon they arrived at the house owned by Gerrie, Elana's partner. The house was a small 2 bedroom house and was neat and tidy. Elana took a well needed rest and Gerrie went off to work.

Well when Elana woke up she went through the house, only to find that everything was locked and that she could not access anything, no food, no telephone.

Gerrie came home later and when confronted, was met with the reply that it was his house,food and telephone and she had no right to it. Untill she contributed to the costs she would not be fed or have any other privileges except of course where sex was involved and would result in her getting a small portion of food. One week went by and it was the same daily, no food, telephone or anything else. She had become this man's sex slave. She was there purely for his weird perverted mind and games and she was helpless. Then one day the phone rang, and her lifeline, Natasha had called to find out how Elana was coping in her new surrounds.

Elana quickly told Natasha what was going on and how she was being treated.

Well Russians in a foreign country do stick together and needless to say, when Gerrie arrived home he was greeted by a barrage of phone calls from Russian couples in Jo'burg warning him that if Elana was not placed on a bus back to Jo'burg the following day, he would come home to a group of large russian men waiting to meet him.

Elana was thankfully placed on a bus to Jo'burg the next day where she was met and cared for by Natasha whilst waiting to return to Russia.

Ladies, First always let the man come to meet you in your own surroundings and where you are in charge of the situation. When you do opt to travel to a foreign town, or country to meet a man, please be sure that you have a lifeline. Find someone that you can contact in that area in case of emergency and who is able to help you out.
