The old schoolhouse in lucketts va was built in 1913 and has had bluegrass music in it for 30 years. It is sometimes called the ryman of bluegrass. It is in the historical register now and used as a community center. The sound of bluegrass music in there is great. Used to live across the road and went every sat nite.

My father E.J. Spence started the show at Lucketts for my brothers and I to have a place to perform so we wouldn't have to play in bars.
