When I think of two couples of the same sex getting married honestly I get a repulsed feeling in my stomach! In my personal opinion I think that it is morally wrong!

However was it my own personal opinion that established the constitution of the United States of America?

The answer is extremely simple; no!

The forefather of this wonderful country’s opinion is what has given the right to same sex marriages! In the constitution it plainly says that we will be treated fairly without in acts of discrimination of race creed sexual orientation etc.. So therefore society today is basing the banning and discriminative acts of same sex marriages on moral beliefs!

Often times it is hate groups, religious groups and child advocates that fight hard to ban such acts to happen. However these groups fail to realize they have committed an act of discrimination each time they try to stop such marriages from happening!

To give an example society may not like a relationship that is Multi-Racial (and 10 years ago the individuals were certainly considered a miss fit to society and totally unaccepted). However in today’s society; after many lawsuits as well as many individuals prosecuted for committing hate crimes towards Multi-Racial relationships our legislators were able to slow down and stop such prejudice acts.

This is the same for same sex marriages these very acts are happening and currently our governmental officials are trying to stop acts of prejudice against this chosen group!

The bottom line is you or I may think that it is morally wrong to indulge in such an act however our constitution gives the right to fair passage of freedom without having any kind of acts of discrimination towards them (this includes the act of prejudice)

I get repulsed in my core because the Holy Spirit dwells there and Romans does talk against this terrible sin of man being with a man, and women with women. It is an abomination to God despite the consitution. It is His constitution, the Bible that I live by, not America's warped sense of what is right.

The Bible doesn't ban inter-racial marriages, for Moses married an Ethiopian woman and Solomon's wife was black also. Man brought that corruption into the church. Like Sciantel said, we live by God's contstitution, and if our founding fathers went against our heavenly Father, they were held accountable for that, as will every person that lives in rebellion to their Creator, their "founding Father". The Bible is clearly against homosexuality and says anyone who lives that way will not inherit the kingdom of God. It's probably mostly Christians that are repulsed by it; however, that is not necessarily true, for people of all religions and walks of life are practicing what is "natural" in this matter, in comparison to the few that are practicing what the Bible calls "unnatural".

Right now, marriage is still defined as between a "man and a woman", so as far as "sexual orientation" and "marriage", everyone has a right to believe and live whatever way they want in this country, as long as they don't break the laws of the land. However, they still will have an accountability to God. After seeing what God did to Sodom and Gomorrah, where homosexuality and sexual immorality was rampant, I'd say we're not to condone it as Christians. The Bible says Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed as an "example" to us! Lest we never forget.

We are supposed to be "one nation under God" and that is getting more and more corrupt every generation. We're still a very young country in comparison to other countries in the world ~ if we keep going at this rate, I'd say "watch out" to America!

There are many things that our Constitution did not covered specifically. In many states it was not allowed marriage the same sex. In the communistic country, I remember, they put them to jail. Is it not paradox?

Our Founders could not make too much specific moral laws, they let Church handle it. How liberalism now change the things it is another matter. The people should vote out those who are violating God's laws.

Government under God should not interpret laws way it is not right. There are some now in politics those who claim that the rats have the right and need the lawyers to protect them.

Is it not gross?

Matthew I agree with what you say. It also says in the bible judge not less thou be judged. It says we need to take the beam out of your own eye before you worry about what others are doing. Why is being gay worse than cheating and being married several times? When we point fingers at someone else remember there are 3 fingers pointing back at you. I am not gay but do have sympathy for what they are going through. No one chooses to be gay. I am most grateful that I was not born gay.

Even if you were born "gay", in Christ, you can be born again.
