It is fall 2009. I am greatly concerned about the Leadership of our country. The far left is politically threatening my traditional way of life. I love traditional American principles. I grew up with these convictions. This belief system is part of my family, my school and my neighborhood. I have the right to worship as I believe, the right to bear arms and the freedom to say when I think our government is wrong. These traditions are customs and beliefs I hold dear.

At this time I believe the political left is attempting to strip these traditions away from me personally. This is not change I believe in. I'm but one in millions, but I take it very personal. The political party in power is affecting me on a very private and personal level. I believe each of us is important in our society; not to be lost in the group. While I reason it is important for society to act as a collective; it is essential we do so for the sake of our individuality. There must exist a balance of group action and individual accomplishment. For this reason I speak out.

Something is terribly wrong when our government withholds water from its own people! Destroying the lively hood of thousands of American farm families for the sake of a fish is not a reasonable solution! Annihilating American farms and way of life is insanity! Something is terribly wrong! Check this story out it's happening in California. The farmers cannot feed themselves or the rest of us without water.Our government has been referred to as domestic terrorists. Indeed this is an immoral, unethical act and just down right wicked. I feel this administration is waging war on innocent American farmers by not stepping in to help restore the water.

I believe left wing legislators have fooled themselves into thinking they have public support. I am outraged at the lack of respect American citizens have received in recent town hall meetings from their representatives. This has happened all around the country. I am outraged by the treatment from our mainstream news media. They demean and ignore the protests of ordinary citizens. I believe the national news networks and major newspapers have become nothing more than dinosaurs .They will eventually go the way of the dinosaurs because they disregard the American public. In their disdain of public sentiment, they render themselves irrelevant to our society. They serve big government; they don’t report the news. There are many traditional Americans, just like me, who feel indignation and anger. I echo a saying from long ago “Don’t Tread On Me!” This was the cry from Patriots when they were heavily taxed to pay Britain’s national debt. This historic flag is appropriate now. I believe we are looking in the face of tyranny once again.

Who are these legislators who think they are socially and politically above regular Americans? I believe some elected officials have created a surreal universe for themselves in which they mistakenly believe they are higher than and greater than the sum of The American People. They lack respect for those who put them in office. I believe many of our politicians care very little about regular citizens as long as they get to keep their spot in the limelight; which eventually blinds them. They’ve been in this light far too long. Let’s vote them out.

What I want from my government is reasonable, logical, responsible legislation. I want this legislation for The People; not special interest groups. I see extremist on the left squeezing moderate, independent individuals with tyrannical mandates resulting in a loss of freedom.

I am an independent, small business person; very small. I and my family do with out to pay our taxes. To these representatives I say this:

How dare you legislate rules and regulations which do not apply to yourselves! How dare you vote yourselves raises, perks, and profits on The People’s dime. You flitter about ordering flowers and granola, throwing famous temper tantrums and, welding power at an unprecedented level. You have forgotten The People handed this power to you in trust. Are you trustworthy?

I think not! You have sold your souls to special interests so you can line your pockets. “I wants it, it’s mine.” And, like Gollum, you want to keep your Washington status and special recognition. I recognize many of you are liars and tax cheats! We need term limits to throw that eternal ring of power into the fire where it belongs!

Many of those in power believe they know what’s best for me. They legislate for me according to how they believe I should live. Do they know me? Do they know what I’m about? Do they know my family, my friends, and how I live? Do they know my hopes, my dreams and desires? I am just one of the masses so how can they know what is best for me? There are no easy one size fits all answers, especially in health care issues. The individual must be recognized. Each person’s health is a separate issue from everyone else’s.

Hey! The People are in charge here! When will you listen? I am just one of the masses but, so are those of you in political power. That is something you, my elected officials, have forgotten.

I’m not comfortable with an intrusive government butting into my private life and my private information. Those insidious questions on the census document should be illegal. How many bathrooms that are in my home, are none of the governments business. As you legislate to me personally with your long, dictatorial arm; remember, We The People can send you right back where you came from. I am growing very angry. I will not be oppressed by leftist bullies!

I grow weary of insults hurled by these elected bureaucrats. They call their constituents terrorists, brown shirts and morons. We The People have been disparaged, belittled, mocked and laughed at by left wing journalist who ignore truth. We are ridiculed by elected and appointed administrators from the left. We have been humiliated by this self-important, arrogant throng. They are condescending, patronizing and demeaning toward regular citizens. They sneer at us and scorn us because we are traditional in our American beliefs. We The People are just not “cool”. The Left has said so in no uncertain terms. They are the “cool crowd”.

We The People don’t behave properly because we speak out and protest. At times we are a rowdy bunch. We are rowdy misfits. But, it is our heritage to be noisy and disorderly when our trusted officials serve only themselves. How loud do We The People have to shout to get our government to listen? We are not politically correct because we disagree with those in power. We are just not cooperating!

It appears to me, they perceive themselves to be mental giants far above the masses. I think they are just mental. I hear the double talk that leaches out through the Presidents’ speeches. He insults my intelligence. He thinks changing the name of a concept will make everything ok. That is a laughable, juvenile approach. It would be funny if it weren’t so offensive.

It is frightening to have our country’s future in the hands of a collection of immature, group think,lawyers. I don’t agree with their socialist ideas of problem solving. Everything is not a crisis. We are not sheep; we are The People. They want all our money in taxes because they think they know what is best for us? I believe local’s can better comprehend my needs, as a citizen. I believe locals have the innate quality and ability to recognize and administer governmental needs without abuse or intrusion. I believe this because, it is their backyard too. I believe state and local governments are more instinctive and effective in achieving positive results. I believe they can do so in real time.

The far left wants everyone to be equal. But I say no one is entitled! No one is entitled to what they haven’t earned. Not one person! Get this my far left friends where ever you are:

We The People are saying NO MORE! We are informed and knowledgeable. You are corrupt. We will send you packing! We will send you home!

And get this also:

Think small central government, low taxes, free markets and lots of charity work to help those in genuine need. Conservative thinkers want a clean environment. Conservatives want to help those in need. Conservatives love animals and trees and wildlife too. We just don’t believe in confiscating everyone’s hard earned money to solve these difficulties. We believe a free market and personal and individual ingenuity can far better provide answers to these problems.

I don’t believe Americans are ready for the one world concept.We have not yet fulfilled our destiny as an individual nation. We must work along side other nations to develop a better world for humanity and all inhabitants. I am not ready to give up my country’s sovereignty so many have died for. That would seem blasphemous and profane to me. I will never, ever give it up.

I believe our government was created for the people by the people. It was created for people who are regular, common, everyday souls. Do our legislators believe Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, James Madison, and other founding fathers are common? If they are common, then I am proud to be of standard stock. We are a nation of common people with uncommon ideas. We are a nation of common individuals who everyday achieve uncommon deeds. We are a nation of regular people who are brave and free because of our uncommon beliefs.

I am present and I am real which is more than I can say for some in Washington. I am not afraid to be a regular, ordinary human being. I stand with the multitudes as a conventional person. I flow with the masses; I weave an intricate pattern of individuality through a diverse citizen tapestry. I am an individual. I have value. I am me. I am!

Send back the power to the so called mob; where it serves best. Send back the power to my region where it knows best. Send it back to my state, to my community, back to Riverdale where my individuality has value and is revered and respected. Send back the power to The People so the regular, the normal, can weld it to correctly serve. Listen! I hear the fife and drum. Do you?
