Those Bastards at StomperNet Have Really Done It Now…

I'm really perturbed today with the likes of Andy Jenkins and Brad Fallon over at StomperNet. They're giving away some of their best kept SEO secrets on DVD for free.

What on earth are they thinking??

Sounds like a great opportunity, right? Why am I mad? Because for one thing, I'm an SEO consultant. I want people to hire ME to do their SEO work, not learn to do it themselves. For another thing, I'm a paying member of StomperNet, so I have already seen the course and their new SEO trade journal the Net Effect. I pay a ton of money every month to get access to this stuff and now they're just giving it away!

Sure, I've heard all about moving the free line, but come on. FREE?!? You have to be kidding me. To be honest, I think the original $500 price tag is too cheap. This is more information than I would go through in a month, and it costs well less than the $800 I pay each month to be a member.

I know how much detailed information is in there. And it's pretty scary. The guys who created this course are literally the guys I go to when I'm stumped. And I'm supposed to be some kind of SEO expert! These guys are really the top of the SEO food chain today.

So now what can I do? I can't pretend it doesn't exist. It's all over the web.

Go ahead, take a look:

http://stse2.stompernet.net

At least I'm in the video for a few seconds. That's something, right? Although that's certainly not the most flattering camera angle...

When I did that, I thought I would be helping to promote a product that cost a couple thousand bucks, like most of their courses.

Anyway, I really am annoyed that this level of information is suddenly going to be in the hands of everyone, including my competition. Thanks a lot Andy and Brad! That means I have to work even harder to stay ahead.

Then there's the SEO journal the Net Effect. Great idea right? It costs 5% of what a membership costs and you still get up to date information from the best in the business. That's the thing with SEO, it all becomes outdated as soon as some idiot at Google flips a switch or turns a dial. This journal will keep everyone informed of the latest tricks, trends, and tools... including people that are not members of StomperNet.

In my state we have 6% sales tax on nearly everything. The cost of the journal wouldn't even cover the sales tax on the price of my StomperNet membership (luckily I don't have to pay sales tax on that yet). But it's just another reason to be angry. Grrrrr.

If you do SEO now or have any plans to do some in the future, you better get this course while it's still free. You'd be a fool not to take advantage and learn some of the secrets the rest of the SEO world has been carefully guarding.

They had some server problems on launch day, but it all seems to be fixed now. I had hoped that maybe the delay would keep some people from signing up, but my understanding is they're coming by the thousands.

If I'm lucky, they'll run out of copies soon...

Oh well, if you can't beat them, join them. I can't stop them from giving away all this information, so I guess I might as well help give it away. Just remember who told you about all this, even if I was kind of pissed when I did so.

Go get the free DVD and first copy of the Journal here:

Wait! What am I doing? Forget that. Don't go get the free DVD. If you want SEO stuff, forget StomperNet and just go to my site and hire my company to do all your SEO and Internet Marketing work. (No, I won't help you for free, so don't even ask...)

P.S.

Sorry about all the anger there... it just sort of came out. I feel much better now! You can read more from me on my SEO and Internet Marketing blog at SEORapture.com.
